My "History of Shaman King TCG" article is coming along very nicely. I spent a hour writing it up, but I am no where near finishing it. Planning of this article has been developing in my mind for about a week, and I finally got it shorted out on how I wanted it done. Now let's move forward, to a kinda uneventful week of reviews. I am breaking into Mikihisa week.

Today's card is "Ancient Discipline." I don't think anybody has made a Mikihisa deck, so I wanted to put the idea out there. Mikihisa doesn't have any trait restrictions. Next looking at his card cost, we see that there is an extremely cheap cost of 1 green furyoku. But with a cheap cost we get a cheap intercept of only 2. You are going to need TONS of advantage support in order to bring that low 2 intercept up to something usable. A 6 force is nice but it's not usable if you can't counterattack!

Since counterattacking doesn't seem very likely with this card, it is given a "Tactical: Green" effect. If you are going to play this card, I think you are going to wear that "Tactical:Green" effect right off the card. I just don't see the point of putting a strike in your deck if you a never going to counterattack with it. If you are running a Mikihisa deck, sure, run it, give your opponent a laugh. But I sure hope you don't plan to win. It's one of those fun deck ideas but it will never reach a tournament level.

Casual: 2/5
Tournament: 1/5
Sealed: 1/5
