Wanna make sure you get what you want off Dark Magical Circle? Now you can with Soul Servant.

Soul Servant is a Quick-Play Spell that upon activation lets you place a Dark Magician or any card that lists Dark Magician in its text from your hand, Deck, or graveyard to the top of your Deck. I’m sure you’re focusing on the Spell/Trap support for Dark Magical Circle to guarantee what you want or you can put Magician’s Rod on top before you resolve an effect that lets you draw cards so you can draw into it. You can also set it as a bluff and use it on the opponent’s turn so you can start your turn with whatever it is you want. The second effect also lets you banish this card from the graveyard to let you draw cards equal to the number of Palladium, Dark Magician, or Dark Magician Girl monsters you control or are in the graveyard with different names. Synergizes well with the first effect to put whatever you want on top and then let you draw into it immediately. This is better when you can use both effects in the same turn of course, which this card allows. The drawing effect is the only hard once per turn, which is fine considering drawing cards is stronger than just putting a card on top of the Deck considering it might not be there by the time you get your next draw due to shuffling of some sort. Soul Servant is a pretty good card in Dark Magician variants enough to warrant some copies in the Deck.

Soul Servant works in a way that makes me feel it should’ve been a Spellbook card.  Maybe that’s why it isn’t.  This is a Quickplay Magic, with an insane about of Draw potential.  First, you place a card from your Hand, Deck, or Graveyard on top of your Deck that’s Dark Magician (or specifically lists Dark Magician or Dark Magician Girl in its text) other than this card.

Seeing how the card can come from anywhere, you’re getting whatever you to want at the time.  And as you’ll see, you’re getting that card almost immediately.  In fact, in the next turn, if you desire. Removing this card from play during your Main Phase, you get to Draw equal to the number of Palladium, DM, or DMG cards of different names on the Field and in the Graveyards.

Realistically, after just a couple of turns, this could easily turn into a +2 or 3, and mid to late game, with a full Graveyard, there’s no reason this couldn’t be a +5 or 6 or even more for you.  As well as whatever card you chose to put on your Deck by the first effect here.  While this doesn’t do much for you Field, the potential alone for your Hand is just surreal.

Soul Servant, another search card for Dark Magician is welcome, but giving it a draw option in one turn is fantastic.

Another Quick-Play, flexibility great for any archetype. You may not get the DM or DMG card to your hand, but stacking your deck can play into Dark Magic Circle, ensuring you’ll not brick off of it (so annoying). Any card mentioning DM or DMG is available. Onto the draw effect. To combat not getting the card to the hand that you stacked you can banish Servant to draw it. Max three draw if you got one of each of the required monsters, but typically you’ll get 1. I can see 2 now, given the more DMG support to bring her into the archetype. You’ll likely always be able to get the card to the hand off the top of the deck straight-away, but if not, you can still use it beside Dark Magic Circle.

Great search for the archetype, needed in 3’s.
