This thing might have had some merit before, but since then it’s all been about ruining the opponent’s hand and by extension field using Photon, Strange and Globuladia. Nice to fetch a Zinc if you need it but it’s a bit undermining if you’re just going to use it straight away for that.

What’s up, Rogue Squad?!  For this week’s Throwback, we’re looking at what was considered a really solid staple for every Star-Vader deck.  However, since Chaos nowadays has a really solid Grade 2 lineup already thanks to Strange, Photon and the sorts, Colony Maker is just considered too slow and even a bit pricy even for its cost.  That and the deck is gains its pluses from screwing over the opponent, so getting a minor plus for yourself doesn’t seem to cut it these days.  If you can’t get certain cards, like Photon (though face it, you will considering it just got reprinted), then this is a good temporary substitute.  Aside from that, it’s a hard pass for me.
