Princess Leia,
Hot Commander---Rebel
Cost---19
Hit Points---50
Defense---14
Attack---+7
Damage---20
SA:
Unique
Advantageous Attack
Mobile Attack
Force Powers---2
CE: Whenever a non unique ally would be defeated, It
can make a save of 16. If the save succeeds, that
ally returns to play in its squad's setup area with
its original hit points.
Now here’s a commander I could get used to. Her hit
points are average for her cost, her defense could
be better. Her Attack is decent, as is the 20 dmg.
Her Advantageous Attack could help the damage
output, but we don’t use her for her attack now do
we? We use her for her Commander Effect. I’ll get to
that later. Mobile Attack is good, seeing as how she
should never be in the line of fire anyway. This
allows her to pop out, shoot her enemies, and pop
right back. Her 2 force are standard for a Leia.
Her CE is by far the best part of her. She can go
into hiding and give your rebel troopers, captains,
heavy troopers, whatever—a chance to live. It’s not
that great, but it could really help in 200pt games.
She won’t be used as much in 100-150pt games, but in
200pt Rebel games, she is a must have. Try pairing
her up with Jacen and young Jedi Knights in 200pt
games.
100pt: 3.5 (Not a place for Commanders)
150pt: 4 (Still belongs to the beatsticks)
200pt: 5 (A must have)
Note: The real question is whether to use lots of
grunts or a few high health minis (like Vornskrs).
May the Force
be with you. |
