Sith Dragon	Mustafarian Flea Rider Fringe Cost: 22 HP: 70 DEF: 16 ATK: +6 DAM: 20 Accurate Shot, Careful Shot, Speed 8, Deadeye Hide the animals and grab the shampoo! We have fleas! Wow! For a piece people were bemoaning and wondering why it was even in this set, this is a VERY good figure. I can think of several figs that would beg for that 10 extra HP. It is the difference of one more hit whether its 20 or 30, which can be big. For only 22 points you are getting a respectable 16 DEF. The +6 isn't real good, but it has a nice way around it, and the 20 DAM is solid. For something that was in the background of the movie for all of about a 3 second scan of Mustafar, it picked up some awesome abilities. It can shoot who it wants, so it doesn't have to try and take on a Vader or Exar leading the pack. If it can stand still, all of a sudden it is a +10 for 30 DAM. Add in Kit or Tarfful and its a +14, or add General Windu and it can double for that amount. 100pts: Lets face it, unless you are a mega huge character, you aren't going to work here. This format is going the way of the Dodo. Although, with the new Boba and Jango, Bane and Vader could be getting a run for their money. The flea is neither big enough or small enough to work here. 200pts: Here i really like this piece. It will be a fun piece, but with all the CEs out there this piece can work really well for either Republic or Thrawn (+19 DEF/+9 ATK) squads. For 22pts you are getting quite a bit, and i cant stress how big that 70 Hp will be in helping the flea hang around and be a solid character. "Dude, the fat guy totally just blew up!" -Pink 5
Zeroph Zeal	Mustafarian Flea Rider Points: 22 Hitpoints: 70 Defense: 16 Attack: +6 Damage: 20 Faction: Fringe Abilities: Accurate Shot, Careful Shot +4, Deadeye, Speed 8 Next up is the Mustafarian Flea Rider! Despite its average look, this piece can be pretty good. His stats are not amazing. For 22 points, 70 is an okay hitpoints, but 16 defense and +6 attack aren't too great. The 20 damage is about the norm, though. His abilities will make him useable though. Accurate Shot is an amazing ability, this much is known. This ability can destroy an number of strategies and is plainly obviously good. Careful Shot will allow you, by not moving the Flea, have him obtain an extra +4 attack, boosting him to a better +10. Also, thanks to Dead Eye, he will have +10 damage as well, rounding to a +10 accurate shot attacker for 30 damage. Not too shabby! He also has Speed 8 which will allow him to move forward and retreat quickly. Furthermore, he is a Huge character meaning he will be harder to get a direct shot on. (Try to figure that one out, heh.) I think its a pretty average HUGE mini, and will see a bit of play. Accurate Shot squads have a new trick, but this thing seems like it would just die a tad too easily for it to be extremely good. 100 points: 1.5/5 Its not bad, but I think there are better things to spend 22 points on than this. 200 points: 3/5 Can get some support here, and can do a fair ammount of damage. Sculpt: 4.5/5 Heh. Mustafarians on insects. Cool.
Ten-Eyed Man	The Mustafarian Flea Rider might be the most surprising (to me) piece in the new set. Somehow, when watching Revenge of the Sith and seeing the little alien dudes slowly riding their giant fleas across the lava-strewn hellscape that is Mustafar, I didn’t get the idea that they were fast and deadly snipers. But this is what we’ve got: a 22-point Fringe piece with Speed 8, Accurate Shot, and the ability to shoot at +10 for 30 damage if it holds still, with an extremely healthy 70 hit points and reasonable Defense. Damn. For Fringe source of Accurate Shot, you can’t really do any better (though being Huge is still an issue on many maps). At only five more points than Boba Fett, Young Mercenary, I expect the Flea Rider to to see a fair bit of table time, since some factions have trouble getting the Accurate support they need, and this crazy bug-rider is a great buy. Overall rating in 100: 4 (unless you’re using DCI map rules, in which case a Huge piece drops to around a 2) Overall rating in 200: 4 (solid, solid investment)
