Horrid stats, underwhelming abilities, great piece?!
Pretty close. The scout suffers from the usual vong
problems of no offense what so ever outside of what
ever it can do with its thud bug. Even with Cunning
CE you are only looking at a +6, which still isn't
going to hit much. Where this piece gains its
strength is in (every one together!) Nom bombs. Oh
what a shocker that is. LOL. Actually a six point
bomb is pretty good as his thud bug makes him more
useful than the grans, but where the scout really
shines is that he can laugh in Depa's face as he
cannot be stripped of his stealth like all the other
NB pieces.
While they are good pieces with Nom, do not
sacrifice all of your other stealth pieces for the
scouts. The Aqualish Assassins just bring too much
cheap attack power to be forgotten, and then you
have all your tech like Garindan and bith vigos.
100/150/200: If you are running Nom in any of these,
they can be worth running. Outside of any Nom
squads, these pieces are just too weak - for now. We
shall have to see what Force Unleashed brings us for
Vong.
