Today we review one of the greatest pieces from this
set. For such a little furball, his stats are
packed! He is only 8 points and somehow he ended up
with an 18 defense! His 20 HP is decent and his +6
ATK is also pretty good for an 8 point piece.
His abilities are so much fun in today's game. Of
course, being an ewok, he has the standard swarm,
making him even better in an ewok squad. Stealth
REALLY makes
him fit in with a lot of squads. Then you really
have the key to playing wicket. His traps ability
lowers the defense of characters within 6 by four.
If Wicket gets close, he is essentially attacking
with a +10 ATK. Not bad for an 8 pt piece. Traps
can really help hit big Jedi or help grunts just hit
more. The trick is to get wicket close without
getting him killed. Generally, he is good for a
late game run up behind your beats, but there are
other ways as well. Your opponent is hard pressed
to ignore him, and that 18 DEF means you can't just
loose an ug or two on him and expect to hit.
One more thing missing that makes him even better is
that he is NOT
a melee piece. Wicket can't toss a bola without
whacking himself in the head, but he can chuck a
spear the length of the board!
100pts: Here you can easily fit him in if you want.
He won't be a staple or anything, but he can
definitely be good.
150/200pts: Here he fits into pretty much any squad
you want to run, but in a couple squads he really
shines. With Nom he becomes one of the deadliest
bombs there is and he will be a major thorn in your
opponent's side. When ran with the Bith vigo and
possibly CS Yoda, he now has evade and will be much
harder to kill. In most every other squad he works
as well. He is just good as well as cheap to boot.
