David Fanany Player since 1995 This guy checks so many boxes, it seems like it shouldn’t be allowed. Efficiency? His cost and power are both comparable to those of Guildpact‘s Rumbling Slum or Return to Ravnica‘s Deadbridge Goliath, and he even has an evasive ability. Card advantage? Apart from cancelling out all the effort your opponent put in to remove a creature or planeswalker, he gives you a second shot at someone’s abilities and/or ultimate, or reanimates your Vampire Hexmage so you can stay ahead in the planeswalker race. Interactions? Not only is he a legendary creature in the age of Dominaria, but he’s also a Zombie and an Elf and a Wizard, three of the oldest and most respected tribes in Magic. It seems like it would be harder not to find a use for Storrev! Constructed: 4/5

A 5/4 with trample is already quite good for 4 mana, but Storrev offers a pretty nifty Regrowth effect if he connects through for damage. The downside is that the mana cost is quite color intensive, making it hard to splash, but I think there’s enough to like; value engines that you don’t need to jump through hoops for are always welcome.
