My #9: Gizmek Orochi, the Serpentron Sky Slasher I love this card. I loved Gustav Max as well. I mean, just for starters, it’s a card with 4000 attack and defense. Yes it’s a crazy Rank for a Monster, but it’s easier than ever to bring it out, and the OTK potential in this card is surreal. I had it much higher on my list, so maybe I loved it a bit too much. But Superdreadnought Rail Cannon Juggernaut Liebe (despite being some sort of fortress tank) A fairly constructed build may be required, but in the Machines, this thing is just…well, a Juggernaut. Rating: 4.75/5 Art: 5/5 Very futuristic, fairly digital, love the colors. Fun fact, and I’m pretty sure I said this whenever we did this the first time, but Liebe translates to English to be love, so I don’t get that in the name. But whatever, I’m not in charge of naming cards. |
Crunch$G For the Number 9 spot, we have a card that helps make Rank 10 monsters have more power to them just by being able to be used to summon this, Superdreadnought Rail Cannon Juggernaut Liebe. Liebe is a Rank 11 EARTH Machine Xyz with 4000 ATK and DEF. Great stats and a great type/attribute combo. To summon this, you must either overlay 3 Level 11 monsters or once per turn you can overlay it on top of a Rank 10 Machine Xyz that you control. Level 11 monsters are scarce in this game, so you’ll likely put it on top of a Rank 10. Once per turn, you can detach a material from this card to have it gain 2000 ATK and DEF, but only it can attack for the rest of that turn. Basically this should be guaranteed to be at 6000 ATK and DEF, which is terrifying to think about when playing against it. During the Battle Phase, it can attack monsters the opponent controls up to the number of Xyz Materials it has +1, making this juggernaut an easy OTK machine if the opponent has a ton of monsters sitting around in ATK Position. If you are playing Rank 10 Machines, you should play this as well for how easily it can OTK and how hard it would be to kill in battle. It’s extremely powerful. King of Lullaby Hello Pojo Fans, Superdreadnought Rail Cannon Juggernaut Liebe almost made it on my list, but there were so many cards that were good that I had to put this aside. Regardless, I’m happy it made it. Sure, make it with 3 Level 11 monsters, or you can use its effect of using a Rank 10 Machine Xyz monster. Much easier and this is how it’s summoned 99% of the time. Fire off Gustav Max for 2K damage, Xyz into this, drop a material and boost this tank to ridiculous ATK. Only attacking with this card when you do this helps prevent against certain OTK’s, but with the other effect of extra attacks that may not be the case. A 6000ATK/DEF monster attacking anything is going to do massive damage, but to attack at least one more monster, that’s going to put the hurt on your opponent. You’d think it can only be good in Trains, but all you need to run is a Rank 10 Machine and Number 27: Dreadnought Dreadnoid and you’ve got the power to make this. We’ve seen big attack before, but combined with the ability to attack multiple times puts this card over high ATK monsters. Also, using the way I mentioned above, you’ll commit 2 Level 4 monsters to get to your Rank 10 (if you destroy something with Dreadnoid) then get your Rank 10 (Gustav Max), then get to Liebe. Yes, doing it this way means waiting a turn to use Liebe to attack, but this is such an easy way to summon it, it many not even matter. Advanced- 4/5 Art-5/5 Until Next Time, |
