Hello Pojo Fans,

Superdreadnought Rail Cannon Juggernaut Liebe is the newest of the Rail Cannon monsters and finishes the week.

Three Level 11 monsters is pretty tough to come by, luckily Liebe only needs a Rank 10 Machine to be Xyz Summoned as well. Use up all your ammo on Gutav Max and go into Liebe. Detach one to pump Liebe up to 6000ATK, that is unheard of when it comes to power that is easy to come by. Two Bullet Trains gets you a Gutav Max, which can do a 2000LP shot before being upgraded into Liebe, detach one to have a 6000ATK ready to crush anything in its path. If that wasn’t enough power, it can attack monsters up to the number of materials +1, insuring you’ll get at least one more attack every turn as long as you’ve got one material. And it must be restated that Limiter Removal is UNLIMITED. 12,000ATK is ridiculous to think of off of such an easy monster to summon within the archetype, and even outside the archetype you can get to this card with the right cards. (Side Note: My Kuriboh back in the day shut down a 3 x Limiter Removal Barrel Dragon, so always watch out for those sneaky Hand Traps lol).

Happy Boss Monster Friday! Superdreadnaught Rail Cannon Juggernaut Liebe is a Rank 11 Earth Machine-type XYZ Monster with 4000 Atk and 4000 Def. Normally, you would need to use 3 Level 11 monsters to get this behemoth stat god out, but just use any Rank 10 Machine XYZ Monster instead. You can only do that once per turn, but when this comes out, there should only be one turn left. Go Gustav for 2000 Direct and then go into this with limiter removal for game over. Though SRCJ Liebe wouldn’t be a boss without its own effect. At the cost of 1 Material, this gets to gain 2000 Atk and Def once per turn. Then this 6000 Atk Liebe is the only monster that can attack after the effect is activated. It’s not a Quick Effect, but you might be able to attack with whatever else and then pump Liebe up. Finally, during each Battle Phase Liebe can attack monsters up to the number of Material it has plus one. There will always be one attack, but 4000 without the pump should be enough if you hit the right monsters. Especially after Gustav Max burns. Finally, SRCJ Liebe can be used in other decks or future decks that happen to have access to a Rank 10 Machine. The only downside to this card is that it has no defense, and I hate if a boss loses to Waboku. Still run at least 2 in the Train Extra Deck, and 1 if you have space for this and Gustav Max.

We are ending the week with a new boss monster in the Rank 10 Train deck, Superdreadnought Rail Cannon Juggernaut Liebe. (These Xyzs have long names.)

Liebe is a Rank 11 EARTH Machine with 4000 ATK and DEF. I said 3000 ATK is always good, but 4000 is just better, and EARTH and Machine goes with the deck. The summoning requirements without its own summoning condition are three Level 11 monsters, where there are 15 Level 11 monsters in the game and only one deck I can think of can probably get out multiple Level 11s (that being Cardians, but in that deck there are better things to do with those Level 11s and the archetype can restrict you to Cardians). The way you’ll probably summon this is that once per turn, you can Xyz Summon a Liebe by overlaying it on top of a Rank 10 Machine Xyz you control (materials on that become a part of this). Easy enough in a Rank 10 deck, not much needs to be said, if Gustav or any other Rank 10 Machine is easy to summon like I’ve mentioned this week, then Liebe is basically easy to summon. Once per turn, you can detach a material from this card to have it gain 2000 ATK and DEF and also for the rest of this turn only this card can attack. The stat boost doesn’t go anywhere, so if you detach a material on the next turn this becomes 8000 ATK and DEF, as if 6000 wasn’t already enough. If you have this after you burn with Gustav Max and your opponent has no monsters, then you can basically attack for game, which that becomes a little easier if you detach a Derricrane to pop an opponent’s monster. You’ll likely not really do that, but Liebe can still cause easy OTKs as it can attack monsters during each Battle Phase up to the number of Xyz materials this card has +1. If you summon Gustav and detach a material for that for 2000 burn and then put this on top of Gustav to detach for this to become 6000 ATK and DEF, then you still got two attacks on monsters which can cause an OTK just as long as the two monsters you attack with this don’t have a combined ATK of 6000 (this is 12000 damage with two attacks on monsters with 0 ATK, so adding points to ATK reduces the damage and your opponent will have 6000 most likely after Gustav, so 6000 damage is all you need). Liebe is what you call a boss monster. Gustav isn’t even the only card you can put this on as well. Number 81 is a good first turn play in the Rank 10 Train deck as it can make itself or another monster unaffected by card effects for a turn by detaching a material, Skypalace Gangaridai can pop a card your opponent controls and burn for 1000 damage (can pop two by detaching Derricrane), and Superdimensional Robot Galaxy Destroyer can destroy all Spells and Traps your opponent controls with them being able to respond with them, then you can summon this for a safer OTK (Galaxy Destroyer needs 3 Level 10s, so it is harder to summon but after detaching then Liebe gets 4 attacks on monsters). This card makes Rank 10 Trains have easy OTK potential if your opponent doesn’t have the right protection. It is pretty linear, just like actual Trains, but the Rank 10 Train strategy as a whole has been pretty linear as a whole since what they want to do is mostly summon Rank 10 Xyzs. Liebe is a good two of in the Rank 10 Extra Deck since it’ll probably be full of Rank 10 Machines, but if you are throwing Rank 10s in a different Extra Deck, you are likely using Gustav and/or Dora so this can be a good one of for that extra OTK potential and surprise factor.

Advanced Rating: 4.5/5

Art: 4.5/5 This thing certainly looks like it can kill you, alright.

As if you didn’t see this coming.  Superdreadnought Rail Cannon Juggernaut Liebe (fun fact, Liebe is German for love) The big daddy here is a Rank 11, requiring three Level 11 Monsters for an XYZ Summon, and has 4000 attack (which is amazing) and an equally fantastic 3000 defense.  Still appropriately a Machine and an Earth Monster, which should surprise no one.

So, first off, you see you can use a Rank 10 XYZ Machine Monster for XYZ Material to bring out Liebe, which makes our Gustov Max friend from yesterday that much better and important a player for this card.  (Pegasus also still works very well with all of this for fetching the cards for that, and even manipulation Levels to XYZ up into this card, just a reminder).  Its Materials also transfer to this card, for an added bonus.

Instead of being able to burn via XYZ Material like yesterday, XYZ Material grant this card more attack and defense, as well as multiple attacks.  Once a turn, by discarding an XYZ Material, this card goes from 4000 attack and defense to 6000 attack and defense, and can attack one additional time for each remaining XYZ Material it has attached to it.

Let’s see, a 6000 attack Monster (even if you shift it to Defense, it’ll still have 6000 points, until they both revert back to 4000).  Being able to attack 4-5 times a turn, or more potentially, I smell some OTK potential here.  A clean back row and being able to attack all your opponent’s Monsters, even just one direct shot is 6000 Damage (oh and if you managed to burn for 2000 with Gustov first) that’s game.

Rating:  4.75/5  Asininely powerful, OTKs happening, simple enough to get out.

Art:  5/5  Nice colors, nice darkness, I’m not feeling the love though, unless the love attached to the name is about the person operating the tank loving killing.
