So nothing for Standard that isn’t reprints gets released this month, so I’m examining the new Premium Collection toys so that I can impress upon you why it’s worst format. I mean look at this thing. In an ordinary deck it’ll add triggers to the hand (or even more Tempest Spheres, hooray for card text technicalities), but to be perfectly frank that’s a pretty minor cost for less chances of scoring, because the ability to unlock powerful Generation Break skills right off the bat, particularly with Cycloned as the flip target is pretty nutty. Even if you only +0 wash you still flip a G Unit to pay for dumb bullshit, which is still pretty dumb.

Or so I hear. I don’t know any meta currently running Zaizan at 1 yet, so it may not be as stupid now. But it’s still easy to use, if not searchable outside of Mecha Trainer and Conroe, so…
