For the
second day in a row, we have a 0 cost Tactic. The
Rare Rogue Tactic Jackmove.
Jackmove’s cost of 0, is offset by its threshold. At
a threshold of 5, it’s as big as it gets in Open
Beta.
Once again, we find ourselves looking at the Rogue
ability to force discard pile enlargement. But this
one has a kicker… Not only does your opponent’s draw
pile get smaller, there’s a chance some of the cards
that were headed for his discard pile could end up
on your side of the field. For a cost of twice X, X
cards go from his draw pile to his discard pile,
unless of course there are Characters or Items
amongst them. That’s where the kicker comes in. Any
Characters or Items come into play under your
control, on your side of the field. Free Characters
are good! Free Items are good! Jackmove is good!
Remember though, any card that gets an effect by
being played will not receive it. Since the card
skips the “playing phase” and goes right to the “in
play phase”, its effect is skipped. At the same
time, if the wording of a card is “when this card
enters play”, it works just fine.
With the ability to make this card as large as you
want by paying as much as you want, Jackmove is
amongst the top of the nasty Rogue Tactics.
In Limited, its 5 threshold will keep it from seeing
much play. In Constructed, it can be scary!
Limited: 2/5
Constructed: 4.5/5

I'm looking forward to the final art on this- I have
a sneaking suspicion that Pluck will be featured. In
any case, the card itself is just plain mean. You
pay two per card chucked off your opponent's deck-
sounds like a good deal to me, considering that you
get to take control of any non-tactic. And seeing
how the tactics will be filling your opponent's
discard pile that just makes Scrag and Adroit
Marauder all the easier to use.
The thing that I don't like about it is that you
have no control over what you get. You could easily
kill yourself by hitting some of the Banker
characters with Influence payments. Mostly the
reason not to play this is the threshold. In Sealed
that's just mean. Five deception? You can count me
out.
Personally I'll take Grand Theft All over this, but
in Constructed I'd just use both.
Sealed 2.4/5 It might win you the game, but more
than likely it'll become a set resource.
Constructed 4.6/5
I love odd averages.
