We close out
the week with a one of a kind. The common Warlord
tactic Tactician Vacation.
What do I mean by a one of a kind? Tactician
Vacation is the only counter card in the game.
Instead of belonging to a trade which has more
control aspects, it belongs to the trade with the
most direct damage and beat down! Go figure.
For a cost of 4 with a paltry 1 threshold, not only
does this card negate any tactic played, it prevents
any further tactics from being played that turn AND
your opponent cannot respond to it with abilities
either. It’s kind of like your mother using your
first middle and last name followed by a loud stern
“I SAID NO!”
With tactics being the constant unknown, who
wouldn’t want to be able to just say no? Worried
what your opponent’s plan might be for his 3 open
resources? Did he pull something good out of his
discard pile to try and lay a further whooping on
you? Would you win if you can just get this one
thing through?
The answer my friend, is Tactician Vacation.
In limited, it’s a keeper. In constructed, it’s
gotta go into 90% of decks that have any Warlord
presence.
