Hello Pojo Fans,

Now we’re back in the saddle from yesterday with today’s card: Tri-Brigade Kitt

While a Tri-Brigade, Kitt helps out with Beast, Beast-Warrior, or Winged Beast archetypes, making her splashable within these types. Banish from the grave to summon a Link Monster is a great mechanic many archetypes wish they had, and you could quickly get to a Link 1 or 2 off of turn one. Foolish Burial for Tri-Brigades when sent to the grave is good to load the grave up with Tri-Brigades to banish for a Link Summon. Kitt goes the extra mile by not restricting you to removing different named monsters or constrain to a certain archetype when summoning a Link Monster with her effect, she just locks you into Beast, Winged Beast, and Beast-Warriors for the turn, which is what you’ll be playing. A mid-to-late game Kitt will for sure allow you an easy Link 4, and you can always use her and whatever you have on the field as material for another Extra Deck summon, as long as it falls within Beast, Winged Beast, and Beast-Warrior.

Best in her archetype, but something you could easily throw into a Beast, Beast-Warrior, or Winged Beast strategy for an easy Link Summon.

We now look at the card I’m sure many Tri-Brigade players were waiting for: Tri-Brigade Kitt.

Kitt is a Level 2 FIRE Beast with 700 ATK and 1000 DEF. Low Level 2 stats as expected, FIRE is fine, and Beast is pretty good on lower Level monsters. Kitt has the effect the other Tri-Brigades do where you can banish Beasts, Beast-Warriors, and/or Winged Beasts from the graveyard to summon a Link Monster of any of those Types with a Link Rating equal to the number of banished monsters, but you can only use those Types for Link Material for the rest of the turn. It’s a good effect, and only letting you use the three Types as Link fodder is fine. The main effect on Kitt that makes her stand out is when she’s sent to the graveyard, you can send a Tri-Brigade monster from the Deck to the graveyard. Perfect graveyard setup in Tri-Brigade to use your effects to get bigger Link Monsters out. Send this off Fraktall’s effect to then use Kitt’s effect to send Nervall and search Kerass after and you should instantly have 3 monsters in grave for when you summon your Kerass for a Link-3, and you can add 1 more if you discard to Special Summon the Kerass. It’s a pretty simple card, but it’s great for Tri-Brigade considering you don’t mind a loaded graveyard for your monster effects. Each effect of Kitt is a hard once per turn, which is more than fair. Kitt is a very good piece of support for the Tri-Brigade archetype and a certain staple to send off Fraktall. Another good boost to anything Beast, Beast-Warrior, or Winged Beast related.

Tri-Brigade Kitt is a Level 2 Monster, Fire/Beast type, with 700/1000 atk/def.  This is another fun Theme card with lots of use for other Decks.  Specifically anything involving a primary Beast, Winged Beast, or Beast Warrior Theme or hybrid.  Removing from your Grave from play any combination of number of the three Types lets you Link Summon a Monster from your Extra Deck with a Link Rating equal to the number of Monsters you chose to remove.  Much easier way of going about your Link Summon, so I definitely approve.  Her second effect is Tri-Brigade specific where if she’s sent to the Grave, you can also send a Theme card there as well.  So you’re only setting up other plays, maybe even for your Link Summon with this cards effect.  I like how open both effects are.  As long as the Monsters removed are of the Types, they can be the same named, which helps open things up.  It’s also helpful that you can dump any Theme card with her latter effect, as opposed to just a Monster.  Both effects are once a Turn.  Too much going on and flooding if it’s not.

Rating:  4/5

Art:  4/5  She’s almost too calm it seems given the calamity going on around her.
