Nintendo President Retires It's about time, no we're just kdding. He will be missed. April 24, 2002- For over 50 years, President Hiroshi Yamauchi of Nintendo led the company. He made sure things were run good, and that Nintendo offered great gaming experiences. But finally he will retire from is thrown of Nintendo. Taking his place is 42 year-old, Satoru Iwata. Iwata comes from the HAL Labortories, and has worked with Shigeru Miyamoto many times. All credit should be given to Yamauchi, though. He was incharge of Nintendo and made it what it is today, a strong, great first party game developer, and Hardware developer. We'll miss him. We whish him a happy life, and great retirment!
