Bizarro
World
Sometimes I just
want to ring Upper Deck's neck. In another
unprecedented move, they made a stupid
card.....intriguing yes, but still stupid.
You wanna know what this card does you need
to go to bizarroworld.com. What do you find
out when you get there? You find out that
you just wasted your time. The effect is
supposed to change every time a new Vs. set
is released. Right now it states "Flip
Bizarro World only if you control a Revenge
Squad character. Activate>>>Stun target
character with DEF of 0." Wow, looks like I
got some new toilet paper. A novel idea UDE,
take a shot at making it's effect good and
I'll do you the pleasure of reviewing this
again.
Constructed
Revenge Squad Deck 0/5.....no.
Limited Format
0/5.....Just no.

Bizzaro World
This is a location that I extremely dislike.
When I first saw it I was like what about all
those people with no access to the world wide
web. What do you say everyone has access
nowadays? Sadly there are some people without.
But that isn’t a problem because in each booster
box comes a description of the current text on
Bizarro World. Supposedly for each new set,
Bizarro World will be changed.
The current description of Bizarro World is:
”Flip Bizarro World only if you control a
Revenge Squad character.
Activate ? Stun target character with a DEF of
0”.
Constructed: 2/5 – There aren’t that many
characters with a DEF of 0. I would much rather
use LexCorp or War World as a location for the
Revenge Squad team.
Limited: 2/5 – There is only 1 natural 0 DEF in
this set and that is Intergang Army who also
happens to have the Revenge Squad team
affiliation. Save your pick for something else
than to draft Bizarro World.

Bizarro World
Bizarro World is more fun than anyone should be
allowed to have with a card. A location with an
effect that will change four times a year will
definitely be something to keep an eye on. Right
now it's effect is "Activate -> Stun target
character with a DEF of 0", which isn't going to
be too easy to pull off. Your best bet is when
an opponent uses Heat Vision on one of their
guys. Right now I don't forsee Bizarro World
making it into too many decks, but then again,
that may change when Marvel Knights comes out.
Savvy players will keep track of the current
effect of Bizarro World (found at
www.bizarroworld.com) to make sure it doesn't
turn from a wild card into a trump card. Two
months from now it could be a free Savage
Beatdown, three months after that it could be a
free Have A Blast! For now, it gets a low
rating, but in general, hold onto 4 copies,
because some day it may be a gamebreaking card.
In Limited, right now it's a bad card, but keep
track of its current ability before going into
an event, just in case. For now, pass it along.

Bizarro World
The current text for Bizarro World is "Flip
Bizarro World only if you control a Revenge
Squad character. Activate -- Stun target
character with a DEF of 0". I'm not going to
call this ability the least bit special, and
honestly, if I was building a Revenge Squad deck
right now, Bizarro World wouldn't make the cut.
The special part about this card is that in a
few months, it gets to change up -- possibly for
the better.
How many times have you seen an opponent with a
character with DEF 0 in limited? I only rarely
see it, and it is almost always attached to a
bad character. Bizarro World isn't worth the
slot right now.
