Spoiler<>Robin - The
Girl Wonder
Let me begin this week by saying that I hope
everyone had a really great Christmas holiday.
Well it looks like this week we are going to
review some of the new cards that came out for
Gotham Knights. To begin, let's take a look at
the new Spoiler.
For anyone running a GK deck or BB deck, you
already know that the new cards released for GK
and TT do not have enough impact to make it into
your already constructed decks. Case in point -
Spoiler. Spoiler is a new 2-drop making the
scene. However as a 2/2 2-drop, this girl
doesn't quite make the cut in my decks. She has
a decent effect (You can activate Spoiler to
give target GK defender a +X attack this attack,
where X is the cost of the defender.) however
you have to keep in mind that using her effect
will probably cost you in BEL since she can no
longer reinforce anyone. Personally I don't see
her replacing the standard Robin or even Barbara
Gordon for that matter in a GK deck, much less a
Donna Troy or Tim Drake in BB deck, but hey if
you can make this card work then more power to
you.
Ratings
GK constructed deck - 2.5/5.0 ...This card gets
an even lower rating in a BB deck.
Limited - 1.5/5.0 ...She does have evasion which
keeps me from disregarding her completely, but
with such low stats I am not even sure evasion
can make up for this card.

Spoiler <> Robin,
The Girl Wonder
This week we're doing two things: welcoming
DawnYoshi to the COTD team and taking a look at
the new Gotham Knights cards from the new
Superman set.
I honestly don't know why GK isn't making an
appearance in more decks. They've got the search
power of Alfred, the mother of all Plot Twists
in Fizzle, and a card specifically to team them
up with Teen Titans. This week's cards just may
help Gotham Knights see their way into a few
more Top 8 winning decks.
When first looking at today's card, you may feel
a little deja vu. Spoiler is to defensive turns
as Tim Drake is to your offensive turns. In
later turns, she's a walking Nasty Surprise,
especially in situations where your opponent
will be trying to attack your lower cost
character with their more powerful ones. She's a
nice 4/2 on defense with her ability, and you
can always just use her Evasion to keep her
around for later turns.
Still, it's tough to put her in over Tim Drake,
especially if you run the 1 drop Spoiler for the
endurance gain. She's a good utility card for
games where you have odd initiative, or if you
really want to power up your Spoiler.
In Limited, there aren't many Gotham Knights to
use her ability on, so I'd just pass her along.
2/2 is small, she doesn't have flight or range,
and there isn't anything else in the set that
will really benefit from her ability.
