Ok, so is 1-cost equipment worth it in a deck?
The answer is no...well maybe...well it depends
on the deck. In general 1 cost equipment is
never worth it. This may very well be the case
with this card as well....Supercycle is a 1-cost
equipment that gives NG characters flight and
+1/+1. Now this sounds a lot like a certain
flying bathtub we all know and love. However,
this equipment has a nice twist. While your
character has cosmic, it also has
invulnerability. That definitely helps to make
up for the fact that there is no easy way to get
costly equipment on the field with NG, unlike
the case with F4. However, that all said and
done, I am still not a big fan of this card.
Why? Well in order to use this card you are
going to (most assuredly) drop characters behind
the curve. Does a +1/+1 counter really make up
for this?...No. Will your characters have their
cosmic abilities for long doing this?....No. So
then why go there?
Personally I would rather have my characters
properly curved out than try to rely on costly
equipment.
Ratings:
DCMA constructed - 2.5/5.0 ...This card probably
will not make up for its cost.
GA constructed - 2.0/5.0 ...It would be a shame
to drop behind the curve in this
format...especially with all the equipment kill
off.
Limited - 3.0/5.0 ...This is probably the only
format I would play this card.

Supercycle
Supercycle has a lot to offer in the right deck,
but 1 cost equipment really has to be essential
to make it in a PC deck. Blue Abuse (Superman
Blue/Soldiers of New Genesis) decks will make
room for it though, dropping a swarm of 2/2 Army
characters, then equipping one of them with a
Supercycle to turn them into 3/3 flyers. The
invulnerability isn't as important, as you'd
only be losing 1 point of stun endurance loss
anyway. Kandor swarm decks might also find a use
for it, but most of the New Gods decks that have
seen play have been curve decks. Not a card
you'll see a lot of in Indy.

Supercycle
Number: DSM-058
Rarity: Uncommon
Card Type: Equipment
Cost: 1
While equipped character has a cosmic counter,
it has invulnerability.
New Gods characters you control have flight and
get +1 ATK and +1 DEF.
Cost: 1
The lower of the two major costs for equipment.
So-so.
Effect:
Any character with a Cosmic counter is
invulnerable. and New Gods get a +1/+1 boost.
The first effect is the killer.
Team Affiliation: (New Gods)
Only usable with Team Superman, New Gods,
Darkseid's Elite, Revenge Squad, ( as well as a
few characters from the teams:
Arkham Inmates, Fearsome Five, League of
Assassins, and X Statix) characters use Cosmic
Counters, so the run of usability is a bit
limited by team. So the Invulnerable effect
isn't as usable as we'd like.
Overall:
Not the best card, unless you're running a
Superman, Darkseid, Revenge Squad or New Gods
deck. In there, though, the effect can be a real
pain for the opponent... unless they're running
Fantastic Four and make use of the Things'
equipment hate effects.
Modern Age:
Ok here if you use a deck that can run it.
3.0/5.0
Golden Age:
Same as Modern.
3.0/5.0
Limited:
Take this only after you've amassed enough
characters with Cosmic to warant its use.

cost:1
Wile equipped character has cosmic counter, it
has invulnerability.
New Gods characters you control have flight and
+1/+1
I'm not sure this card deserves much playing
time. I'm not fond of equips unless they are
very beneficial to the deck as it costs you a
card from your hand to play and is absolutely
worthless if you have to put it in your resource
row. I'm not sure this card makes the cut.
It has invulnerability which is good, but at a
1-cost you have to miss a drop to even get it
into play.
Granted invulnerability would be nice on drops
that can hang with the next drop like Thing - oh
wait! It has to have cosmic for the effect! so
its a one time use card as you will lose your
cosmic when you get stunned.Yes there are ways
to get your cosmic counters back, but that's an
awful lot of trouble for an effect that isn't
all that important on a drop-behind character.
As for the second effect for New Gods, +1/+1 and
flight for all your characters isn't bad, but
again for a one cost it needs a much better
effect than that.
Stick with the better one drops out there. This
card isn't worth the space.
