World War III
Plot twist: 3
Play WWIII only during your attack step. KO any
number of non-stunned IG characters you control,
Then KO any # of characters with a combined cost
less than the number of characters you KO'd.
This card shouldn't be called WWIII. It should
be called falling on your own sword. There is
only one IG deck type that this should even be
included in (even then I'm not sure) and that's
the IG swarm deck. IG has a lot of cards that
can be used for Army characters to summon them
and get them out easily, but to what end? Who
knows. I have yet to see any type of IG swarm
deck, but the one thing that keeps popping into
my head is that this deck type is begging to be
teamed up with GCPD officers.
Using WWIII is possible with all of the free
summons you can get with the IG effects, but it
will be hard to use this more than once, as
taking out a 6 and 7 drop would take 15 army
characters. Then there would really not be any
type of counter punch to hit them with unless
you are saving for a 9 or possibly 10 drop,
hence the GCPD for stall. This may be the set-up
to play Mageddon (or Apocalypse or Imperiax(?)).
In the end if you want to use this card, you are
going to need to build your deck around it.
period. Outside of that, there is not much use
for this card. It could be fun to try out,
though, if you are bored over the holidays.
Speaking of which, I hope everybody out there
has a happy and safe Christmas.
