 | Destroyer -
								Soulless Juggernaut
This week we are going to start into our reviews
of the new cards from MHG. To begin we are going
to take a look at a low drop character (1 or
2-drop) from each of the major teams from the
new set (Doom, HOG, Inhumans, and Kree) then
finish off the week with a low drop character
from either Skrull, IW, or a legacy card. After
that we will move onto mid-drops (3 or 4-drops),
high drops (5 or 6-drops), etc...You get the
picture. with the upcoming 10K in NY, perhaps
this will give you a bit of an insight into what
you will be seeing before you get there.

Today we start with Destroyer from the HOG
								affiliation:
 Basics - This character is a 2-drop 1/1
character with flight and range and a cosmic
ability which gives him +3/+3. This means this
guy will hit the field at a 4/4, making him more
than strong enough to take down a 2 drop and
								possibly a 3-drop as well.
Constructed play - This is not a strong
character choice for constructed play. After all
once this character gets stunned, you are left
with a 1/1 liability on the field. Considering
attack boosts are all too common in this format,
this character will probably be stunned right
away. This makes this card too risky in this
format, even with the bonus of flight and range.
Sealed - This card is quite a bit stronger in
this format. Having a 4/4 on the field on turn 2
pretty much guarantees you will be able to put
in some extra damage without having to worry
about this character getting stunned in return.
However, you have to make sure this character
hits the field on turn 2. There is no guarantee
that this character can attack up the curve.

 Ratings:
 MMA constructed - 2.0/5.0 ...While a 4/4 is
nice, it doesn't always last long.
GA constructed - 1.5/5.0 ...There are more ways
of stunning 2-drops in this format.

Limited - 3.5/5.0 ...A small amount of PTs which
allow attack boosts for defenders means this
character will keep his cosmic for at least one
extra turn. Take odd initiatives with this guy
to keep your opponent from attacking on turn 2
and don't recover him once he is
stunned...instead KO him for effects like Dr.
								Doom's.
