Polaris -
Acolyte
Today we are going to take a look at the other
side of Brotherhood - the acolyte side
The acolyte side of Brotherhood is basically
everything the reservist mechanism was made for.
The avengers reservist deck slightly dims in
comparison as now we can take advantage of the
reservist mechanism itself. Today's card
(Polaris) is one such example. Polaris is your
standard 5-drop with stats of 9/9. She has
flight and range and should you replace a
reservist resource, she gives flight to all of
your characters and takes away flight from all
of your opponent's characters. This may not
sound like much, but trust me being able to fly
in this game can make a huge difference. It will
be real interesting to see some of the new
crossover decks that will result from the
acolytes.
Ratings:
MMA - 3.0/5.0 ...Polaris is a great addition to
an acolyte deck.
GA constructed - 2.5/5.0 ...I am not sure a
standard acolyte deck will be as powerful as
other decks will be.
Limited - 2.0/5.0 ...Being able to fly can be
crucial here...however you need the reservist to
replace.
