Alaris - The
outgoing one
Basics: Alaris is a 9/10 5-drop with a useful
effect of keeping a character protected by
Alaris from being attacked. You can also pay 2
endurance to exchange the positions of Alaris
and another Inhumans character you control.
Constructed play: It will be very interesting to
see this character in this format. After all he
is like a bigger version of Blob with the added
ability of being able to be moved all over the
field. I think he will be useful in a
Heralds/Inhuman stall deck. Outside of that we
will have to see.
Sealed play: This character is a very good pick
for this format. His ability to protect
characters makes this guy extremely valuable;
especially in a format where there are so many
characters that can fly. He has a 10 defense
which makes him a very nice wall to boot and if
nothing else your opponent is going to have to
throw everything behind their attack against
this guy rather than against your weaker
characters.
Ratings:
MMA constructed - 3.0/5.0 ...I can't wait to see
how well this character fits into decks.
GA constructed - 3.0/5.0 ...This character makes
a nice wall.
Limited - 4.0/5.0 ...This character is a strong
choice - even for splashing.

Alaris
Back to Inhumans, not a cool as Firelord, but
still okay
Alaris
The Outgoing One
Inhumans/5/9/10
A character protected by Alaris cannot be
attacked.
Pay 2 endurance > Exchange the positions of
Alaris and an Inhumans character you control.
This is a ship shape card. Much better that I
thought is was. First of all, Alaris is a
mini-Blob, saving one of your support row
characters. But technically, you can actually
protect many support row characters, provided
that you also have another front row character
for every support character you have. That, and
if you have the endurance to pull it off. So
essentially, you can manipulate the combat phase
to your own liking. And that’s a very powerful
thing to have off-initiative.
Marvel Modern: 4/5
Silver Age: 3/5
Golden Age 2/5
Overall: 3/5
