Armageddon
Armageddon is, without question, one of the
hottest cards to come out of the MHG set. It is
kind of like Savage Beatdown+ where an attacker
you control gets +6 attack, but it has the
drawback of a 6 threshold cost.
Constructed play: Initially this card will go in
decks just for the hype, but with a 6 threshold
cost I seriously doubt it will stay there. After
all, if threshold costs didn't matter than we
would definitely see more Savages these days
than we currently do. With games usually ending
by turn 6 (especially in GA format) this card
will only end up taking up room in most decks.
Hey, if you really want the card just wait...the
price will certainly decrease in the future.
Limited play: This card is gold in limited. Here
we will usually see games go to turn 7+ so a
card like this is almost like having a game
sealer (especially whe you combo this card with
the 6-drop Dr. Doom's effect).
Ratings:
MMA constructed - 3.5/5.0 ...Curve decks are
more playable in this format.
GA constructed - 3.0/5.0 ...Not so much here
Limited - 4.5/5.0 ...This card can be a
game-winning card.

Armageddon
The Rares are this week’s main focus from
Heralds of Galactus. Like 666.
Armageddon
Plot Twist/6
Target attacker you control gets +6 ATK this
attack.
Let me put it bluntly for you. If you make it to
turn 6 and it’s your initiative, you win. If you
have four copies, you win. If you’re also
playing Savage Beatdown, you win. If you’re also
playing Live Kree... or Die!, you win.
Marvel Modern: Unstoppable 5/5
Silver Age: Still Unstoppable 5/5
Golden Age It may be a little slow... 4/5
Overall: 5/5
If you don’t want to win, don’t play this card.

Armageddon
This Armageddon couldn't be worse if that crappy
Aerosmith song came out of speakers that were
hidden in the card. +6 ATK looks shiny, but not
if your opponent plays all of his lower costed
plot twists and smokes you on turn 5. Any deck
that stalls to get to the later turns has a
better win condition than a generic pump, and
any rush deck has better ways to kill you on or
before turn 6. Go ahead and stick it in your
Sealed deck though, you've got a much better
chance of being able to draw and use it then.
Rating: 2/5...sell it as soon as you can.
