Time Gem
Card #MHG_185
Unique
Whenever equipped character becomes stunned, you may
return Time Gem to its owner's hand.
Whenever a player plays a non-ongoing plot twist,
return Time Gem to its owner's hand and then discard
a card. If you do, negate that plot twist's effect.

Time Gem
Oh man, Time Gem is good. It's a reusable Fizzle
on a stick. The only drawback is that since it's
an equipment card, the equipped character has to
not be stunned so that you can activate its
effect (plus if the character is stunned, Time
Gem will just bounce anyway). Since you bounce
Time Gem first, then discard a card, you could
just discard the same Time Gem you bounced, if
you had an empty hand or something (i.e.
Squadron). In Limited, you'll probably only get
one at most, since its a rare, but if you get
it, it's very playable. Resuable, virtually free
negation is very good in this game, and with no
loyalty restrictions of any kind, it's very
splashable in decks that don't have plot twist
search.

Time Gem
Quite possibly one of the best cards ever made
in the game of Versus.
Time Gem
Infinity Gem
Equipment/0
Whenever equipped character becomes stunned, you
may return Time Gem to its owner’s hand.

twist, return Time Gem to its owner’s hand and

twist’s effect.
Negate a plot twist. Absolutely no drawback.
Reusable. There’s absolutely no reason to not
put this in every deck you ever make for the
rest of your life. Remember to choose wisely
which character you equip it to because it’s
essentially the same as painting a big red
target on the back of the character you pick.
And that character is giving you opponent the
finger. So even if you don’t get to negate
anything, you can at least manipulate the combat
to your liking. And try again next turn...
Marvel Modern: 5/5
Silver Age: 5/5
Golden Age: 5/5
Overall: 5/5
And this is just considering you’re not playing
an Infinity Gauntlet...
