Dark Bargain
3 cost Plot Twist
To play, put a character card from your KO'd
pile on the bottom of your deck.
Recover target stunned Underworld character you
control if its cost is less than that cards
cost.
Well. This is an interesting cool card.
Normally, I'm not fond of Underworld, but over
the last few weeks, I've seen some pretty cool
cards for them. Dark Bargain is pretty solid. At
the cost of putting a Character from your KO'd
pile on the bottom of your deck, you can recover
a stunned Underworld character. Sure, it has to
cost less than the card removed from your KO'd
pile... but that shouldn't be TOO hard to do.
Interesting. VERY interesting.
Sealed: 2/5 You may not get enough Underworld
characters to make this card useful here.

Dark Bargain
Cost 3
Plot Twist
It’s an underworld card which has something to
do with the KO’d pile. Looks like the bookies
take a beating.
(That joke has to do with the fact that 99.9% of
Underworld cards have something to do with the
KO’d pile).
Dark Bargain isn’t great. It’s situational,
depending on what cards you have in your KO’d
pile relative to what cards you have on the
field. So that’s not great. Whatever card you
choose to move to the bottom or your deck, you
are also losing the potential options that you
gain from having that card in your KO’d pile. So
that’s not great either.
It can potentially recover a stunned Underworld
character, and it can do it before wrap-up.
However since there are so many cards which
benefit/protect stunned characters that are
viable for an Underworld deck (see all previous
Underworld card reviews ever), you really don’t
need to use sub-par card to try and save them.
Sealed: 2
Constructed: 2

Dark Bargain
Another good plot twist for an already good
team…
Dark Bargain
Plot Twist/3
To play, put a character card from your KO’d
pile on the bottom of your deck.
Recover target stunned Underworld character you
control if its cost is less than that card’s
cost.
This is the one of two cards I can think of that
gives you a free recovery at virtually no cost
(the other being Xorn). Some cards require
discard, some require exhaustion, this requires
nothing other than putting a character from your
KO’d pile on the bottom of your deck. And that’s
extremely easy to do in an Underworld deck, Dark
Dimension, Death’s Embrace, Straight to the
Grave, or simply milling the top of the deck. In
an Underworld deck, or even a team-up, this card
is very good.
Marvel Modern: 4/5
Silver Age: 4/5
Golden Age: 4/5
Overall: 4/5
Again, not too shabby.
