We end the week looking at another member of the
Wild Pack, Paladin. His stats are pretty much
average, though I would refer to have 3 attack
over having 3 defense any day of the week,
because cards like Poison Ivy and other strong 2
drops always seem to have 3/3 stats. Hopefully
for being average you’d expect an awesome effect
to back you up right?
Well, kind of. Paladins effect will only stop a
few decks, and even to the off curve decks it is
meant to stop it could still serve as only a
mere nescience to them depending on what they
are holding. In sealed where pretty much every
game is based on curve Palidin will only shine
when your opponent is playing an off curve style
Sinister Syndicate deck. Also, needing another
Wild Pack character makes it so he can’t be
splashed into decks to battle off curve.
Overall, not too impressive, but at least he is
wild pack so you can get out Silver Sable!
Constructed: 2.0 out of 5, Sometimes he will
serve as a silver bullet
Sealed: 1.5 out of 5, Usually in this format he
is just going to stand around and get beaten up. |
