[PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: DO NOT WATCH, RENT
OR BUY THE SIMPSONS MOVIE. IT IS THE WORST FILM
I HAVE EVER SEEN.]
"Well if it isn't Nathan Christopher Dayspring
Askani'son Summers... or are you just calling
yourself Priscilla now?"
-Deadpool (Cable and Deadpool #1)
Cable <> Nathan Summers: Cost 3: 5/4: Range: X-Men
When Priscilla Cable enters play target
opponent loses 1 endurance for every X-Men
character you control.
(Note: Having Cable on the field also lets you
use “Bodyslide”).
(Bodyslide: Plot Twist: Cost 3
Play only if you control Cable.
Remove target non-stunned character you
control from the game. Its owner puts it
into play at the start of your next attack
step.)
Cable’s burn effect obviously lends itself to
swarm decks. And the idea of re-using it via
Bodyslide and/or via multiple copies of Cable is
readily apparent, if not exactly as cunning as a
fox who's just been appointed Professor of
Cunning at Oxford University.
Blackadder references aside, I’ve not seen a
great deck that uses Cable.
I have however seen plenty of decks which hinge
on Bodyslide and include Cable purely to enable
its use.
And that pretty much sums up Cable. Whether he
is good or not, the decks he is used in don’t
work without him.
Sealed: 3
Constructed: 4
