Bring The
Pain
And for the first reprint…
Bring The Pain
Plot Twist/1
Target Marvel Knights character gets +X ATK this
attack, where X is its cost. Lose X endurance.
This card was average when it came out. This
card is still average now. You have to use this
on at least a 4 drop. Otherwise, what the heck
was wrong with Flying Kick? Or even a Savage
Beatdown? You don’t lose any endurance with
these cards either, and on higher cost
characters, that cost will definitely put a dent
in your endurance. Although, I guess an obvious
advantage is being able to play either on
offense or defense.
In sealed, a pump is a pump, I guess…
Sealed: 3/5
Constructed: 3/5

Bring the Pain
1 cost Plot Twist
Target Marvel Knights character gets +X ATK this
attack, where X is its cost. Lose X endurance.
This card pretty much rocks. The only
2 things that are required to play it is a
Marvel Knights character, and you to lose a
little life. You can play it on one of your
deffending MK characters as a pretty solid
suprise counterattack, you can use it as a
bigger Savage beatdown later in the game. I
very much like Bring the Pain.
Sealed: 3/5 If you get alot of Marvel Knights
characters, this card will be great. But if you
don't get a good amount of them, this card won't
be very helpful.
Constructed: 4/5 If you are playing a Marvel
Knights deck, you will probably want to run
several of this card. Its great offensive, and
a great suprise defense. |

I'll be
honest, something about this card makes me say,
"I like this card. I like it a lot." Is it the
cool art? Or the fitting effect with the art? Is
it the fact that it cost 1? Or that it's a pump?
Actually it's all of the above (yes even the
art.) When you think about it, it is a pump to
attack one up the curve. This pump can help
guarantee that your cross attacks will have an
effect. It guarantees that the Punisher will
punish that higher drop that deserves it. It
ensures that four drop Elektra will mean it. A
lot. Great pump, even though it costs endurance
as well.
Sealed 3.0 (It has to be on the Marvel Knights
team.)
Constructed 4.0 (The pump means business on both
sides of the field, through your endurance to
make them loose their's. |

Matt Damon!!!
That’s our intro for today.
Bring The Pain: Plot Twist: Cost 1
Marvel Knights character gets its cost as an
attack increase and you lose that much
endurance. And it’s only for the attack.
It sucks and here’s why…
Savage Beatdown will give you +5 on turn 4. So
that’s better. Armageddon will give you +6 on
turn 6. More or less anything will give you +3
by turn 2/3. And none of them make you lose
endurance.
It sucks.
Sealed: 2
Constructed: 1
