What is there
to say? Team-ups are part of what this game is
about. You can stick Spider-Man on the same
field with Batman any time you want, but it
takes a team-up to make them work together. You
want to team attack, use team-stamped plot
twists, or reinforce?
You guessed it...team-up. While team-specific
team-ups usually come with an Ongoing ability to
make them worthwhile, Marvel Team-up is just a
generic team-up, Team A...meet Team B. The one
thing Marvel Team-Up is lacking is the Team-Up
version that later cards got. That keeps it from
being targeted for destruction by some of the
Ongoing plot twist hate that later sets have
seen. Marvel Crossover, from the new Marvel
Team-Up set, has that version, so there's no
reason not to play it if you're putting together
a multi-team deck. |
