Card Review: Beast Boy- InZane33
For the next
three weeks I’ll be reviewing Titan cards. Something I forgot to mention
on my first card review was that every Saturday I’ll be looking over a different
deck archetype, going over the concepts and strategies. In three weeks
I’ll be showing a Teen Titans deck, and telling the basic format and focus of a
common titans deck. During the in-between weeks I’ll review deck
archetypes from Marvel Origins. Today I’ll review another very sought
after card, Beast Boy.

Concerning the
high want of certain cards I compare MOR to DC. While Have a Blast! And
Fizzle remind me of the mad rush for Savage Beatdown and Feral Rage, Beast Boy
became the It’s Boris/Genosha/It’s Clobbering Time of DC Origins, and for good
reason.
When you’re
looking at Characters, most people first check the stats, which, for Beast Boy,
are very very low. But he’ll get big in a few short turns. He’ll
gain +1/+1 every time he fights, which means by turn five he could become a 7/7,
with no draw backs! Insane.
There’s not too
much to say about this card, almost any team that had it for their affiliation
would put it in, might be the best three drop in the game. And without
loyalty, he’s always a first pick for a booster draft
deck.
I’ll give it a
4.5/5, same as Garth. Gets a perfect score in constructed. TT
players, if you pull it, play it. I don’t see how it can’t benefit you.
