Europe, Upper Deck (UD) announced today plans to host the
2008 World of Warcraft® TCG World Championship
Tournament at the Equinoxe in Paris, 18 – 19 October,
2008. The 2008 World of Warcraft TCG World Championship
Tournament features amazing prizes for the top
finishers, plus Loot™ cards and other offerings for every

interested in Blizzard Entertainment®’s massively
multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) or the TCG.

participant in the 2008 World of Warcraft TCG World
Championship Tournament will receive a super common
Loot™ card from the upcoming TCG expansion Drums of War,

grand-prize winner of the 2008 World of Warcraft TCG
World Championship Tournament will receive
€30,000 in cash, a
Dell laptop computer, plus three all-expense-paid trips for
two people to any World of Warcraft TCG events anywhere in
the world. In addition, the character that the World
Champion plays in Blizzard Entertainment’s World of Warcraft
MMORPG will be immortalized on an upcoming World of Warcraft

original art for the card will be awarded to the World
Champion. The grand-prize winner will also receive a Bear

Warcraft TCG World Championship Tournament in 2009. The
second-place finisher will be rewarded with an iPod touch, a
PlayStation 3, a €15,000
cash prize and two trips to
