Queen Sylvanus Windrunner
Hang on a sec: Banshee Ranger isn't a class! Anyway
the Queen of the Banshees might not seem as powerful
as Saurfang, but what she lacks in brute force she
makes up for in cunningness. You other Undead dudes
can’t be destroyed eh? That’s one invincible Ophelia
Barrows. I detect some crazy Undead combo decks on
the horizon people.

Today we look at a card that may seem useful, but in
fact isn’t at all.
Undead just hasn’t got the support it needs to be a
success at tournaments, and this card isn’t the
support either.
Collectors love this card, players don’t the costs
are to high and the effect isn’t good enough.

Horde Unique Ally
Cost: 9
5/7
Other Undead heroes and allies in your party can't
be destroyed.
Today we look at another epic horde ally from TDP.
This card is pretty amazing. The cost is definitely
high, but the effect is what you want. She really
helps with Doomguard and Valthak, and her combo with
Ophelia is simply broken. A protector that doesn't
die, and removes allies from your opponent's
graveyard. Soul Link just may get a revival.
Sylvanas also combos very well with the quest A New
Plague. The requirement for the quest is that
you and your opponent must have an ally. Then you
choose to destroy one of your undead allies (who
won't die), but your opponent loses his.
Plus, if you run an undead hero (why wouldn't you
with Sylvanas), you get to draw a card as well.
She also helps you keep hand control. Dark Cleric
Ismantal is an undead with the effect of "pay 4 ->
deal 1 shadow damage to target hero or ally. That
character's controller discards a card for each
damage dealt in this way. Use only on your
turn." Normally, she would be a target for your
opponent. But with Sylvanas keeping her immortal,
you are free to re-use her effect without worrying
about her dying on you.
Sealed: 1.5/5 (You probably won't have too many
undead allies, and her cost is way too high.)
Constructed: 5/5 (A deck built around her would be
devastating.)
Casual: 5/5 (Same as above)
Raid: 4/5 (As long as you have an immortal protector
to keep her safe from Onyxia, she'll pretty much win
the match for you. As long as Onyxia doesn't drop a
"destroy all allies" on you.)
Red Comet
Queen Sylvanas Windrunner
This cards effect
speaks for itself. Like all racial leaders her
effect aids the many decent undead allies the
horde has and it's few undead heroes.
Expect to see Valthak Spirit Drinker and this
card in a lot of decks very soon.
Card Rating:
Sealed: 2/5
I'm sorry to say that unless you are
extremely lucky this card is not going to be
very useful.
Constructed: 4/5
You'll be hearing a lot of wailing at
tournaments not from this card but rather the
people who've lost to it.
Casual: 4/5

Raid:2/5
Not very good in a raid but the right deck
might be able to pull it off.
