I love mages. Online, and in the cards, Mages are
scary. As in most card games, Card Advantage can be
the difference between life and death. And stopping
your opponents card advantage can keep you alive.
In a raid, or in multiplayer, this can be fun. Ony
stage 3 doesn't get to draw cards on a turn? Thats 3
less options that she has for eating your face off.

Being a frost mage, Marganis gains access to
'Coldsnap', which can be a great way to get back
those ever- useful Frost Nova's, which in a raid, is
a great way to get rid of those blasted Whelps. (By
all means, kill the whelp...)
Constructed 3/5 Morganis is a great way to annoy
Ruby Gemsparkle players :)
Casual 3/5 for the same reason as constructed
Alright, first off is
Morganis’s effect. It resembles the mage ability
Brain Freeze in that it locks up drawing cards, but
MB’s effect only stops your opponents from drawing.
This can be devastating against an opponent with no
quests in hand or no cards in their hand at all.
Combine this effect with Bag of Whammies to draw
‘til three while your opponent can’t to gain a large
advantage. This slow down could be enough to give
you the leg up you need to win.
Secondly, Morganis has
the Frost talent spec. This gives her acess to cards
like Ice Block, which blocks all damage for the
turn, and Cold Snap, which recycles frost abilities.
Next, MB is a Horde
ally which means that she has access to a plethora
of ferocious allies. With all of Morganis’s
controlish abilities and ferocious allies, your
opponent will be hard pressed to stop her.
Lastly, Blackvein is
Undead. This opens the door for Cannibalize and The
Haunted Mills, two very awesome cards. Let’s not
forget the added effect with A New Plague, which,
when combined with Queen Sylvanas Windrunner who
we’ll review later this week, can be equally
awesome.
Sealed: 2.5 out of 5

Many frost abilities are uncommon and rare, so
Morganis won’t be as powerful here. Sealed events
are also geared more towards rushing, and Morganis
only has 25 health points.
Constructed: 4 out of 5
–
MB is a strong, versatile hero. She’s good for
control and rush.
Casual: 5 out of 5
–
What hero isn’t good for casual? Plus it’s always
fun to beat your friend with only a handful of
health left at the end.
Raid: 3 out of 5
–
Keeping Onyxia from drawing can be very beneficial.
Just watch out because, again, MB only has a measly
25 health.

Undead Frost Mage. So now Horde Mage can
Cannibalise and Cold Snap: be prepared for
the long haul against Morganis when they
recur Frost Novas and Ice Blocks, while
Cannibilizing back to health. Fun.
