Woohoo! Its
Epic Armor week! Lets see what neat gear the
Hakkar as dropped for us...
Aegis
of the Blood God
5
cost, 0 DEF
Armor- Shield, Off-Hand (1)
Paladin, Shaman, Warrior
Aegis
of the Blood God has +1 DEF for each damage on
your hero.
Well... this
is an interesting sheild. The harder you've
been hit, the more damage it can stop. 5 cost
is expensive for an shield that can stop only
one source of damage a turn, but boy can it stop
that source... late in the game, you could
theoreticly be stopping upwards of 20 damage.
Not that any one thing is likely to be hitting
you for that much. Near as I can tell, this
sheilds is only moderately useful in Sealed and
Constructed, but in a raid like MC, some Bosses
get +10 ATK when attacking Heroes. If a tank
has this shield, he could effectivly stop that
attack.
Sealed: 3/5
It has potential later in the game to stop
whatever fatty your opponant is throwing at you.
Constructed:
2/5 Much better stuff you can find for the same
cost.
Casual: 3/5
Not useful, but you can make your opponant sweat
a bit when you drop it. And that can be fun.
And fun is what casual is about. Which I
mention in all my reviews...
Raid: 4/5
Late game in MC, this sheild can save your tanks
life. Or your Shammy or Pally if you are
relying on them as healers.
