Well today we’re going to look at an armor, which no
one will use.
Sure you can send a Ally to your opponents hand, but
he can summon it back the next turn without any
damage on it.
But in the long run, you’re just holding of the
inevitable, you’ll be overrun with allies or
abilities.

Ok today we look at a very specific piece of armor…
I’m not going to lie to you I have never seen this
card in play ever. I have thought about using it but
my rouge deck is sporting a ton of abilities and
protectors and my druid deck is all about the
healing and my army of weenies. There is no room in
either deck for armor.
OK that being said lets look at this card as if I’m
playing it in my deck just for arguments sake. Turn
4 rouge/druid there is a lot of stuff going on but
let’s say I drop a resource and play this bad boy,
ok now I have a 1 defense armor that pops guys back
to my opponents hand when they hit me… Ok now lets
say I’m playing a horde rush deck, now I can pay 2
on turn 5 to pop something back to his hand but on
turn 5 I’m usually under 10 HP and staring down the
barrel of a Mako on turn 6. The crappy part of this
card is that it’s too expensive and does not have
enough defense. I guess you could use natural
defense to bump it up a couple points but what
happens when your opponent axes that bear form and
all of a sudden your armor is crap again.
In my opinion this card basically requires you to
build a deck around it and I’m not willing to do
such a thing, but if someone does find a really good
use for this card let me know. I think the game
designers should have priced this card at 3 and
maybe the ability at 1 as it stands right now it
does not have a home in any format and really
suffers in some.
Sealed (2): Isn’t so bad here druid and rouge don’t
have a body armor slot so having this could be cool
and sealed format is not as aggressive as
constructed.
Constructed (1): Everything that costs 4 is better
to play than this I’m sorry to say.
Casual (2): Build a druid Bear deck and get those
natural defense out and hope your buddy dose not pop
the bear form and you should be good.
Raid (1): If you could force your opponent to hold
those token cards in his hand that would rock but
alas those tokens just die when they are bounced
back to hand.
Lazy Peon (2): You could use it in this format but
really if your playing rouge or druid there are much
better things you could be doing on turn 4-6 than
playing this… I just don’t think this card was
priced well.

This card is pretty good. If youre playing a rogue
or druid deck, and youre afraid of losing, then
playing this card (the only Druid/Rogue chest armor
available right now) could increase your chances of
not losing.
But look past that. Read this card's ability and all
of a sudden this card gets good. You can return
allies to their controller's hand. Only problem with
this is that you dont destroy the card, and you
still take damage.

Green whelp armor
.... Ok card...not great...not supported very
well...rouges and druids...aka nothing. but if you
play one of these decks it would be a good card to
play, because they attack and they will have to
resummon....it a fun card to try but don't depend on
it or anything to win you a game
Sealed:3/5
Constructed: 3/5
Casual: 4/5
Raid:4/5 (whelps would die instead of returning to
the hand)

Green Whelp Armor
Today we look at Green Whelp Armor, a leather chest
for druids and rogues, which can prevent 1 damage
and costs 4 to play. But that’s not all. It has an
effect which allows you to bounch an ally attacks
and damages your hero.
This will give you good control against many strong
allies, keeping their attacks at a certain pace.
However, allies with ferocity will make this effect
quite useless. This is a good equip for a rogue
deck, but it is better for the druid. With Bear Form
and Natural Defenses, this card can prevent damage
up to plate level. Adding the bounch-effect makes
this card a solid source of control. So, place it in
a (Feral) Druid Deck and some Rogue Decks. There are
other equipments I would prefer in Rogue Decks over
this one, but it’s still a good card.
And just for the record, it’s worthless agains
Onyxia.
