When Bhenn Checks-the-Sky enters play, you may
exhaust target ally.
Welcome to the Tauren week, so let’s get out our
Wardrums and start with Bhenn Checks-the-Sky.
Personally I prefer Voss Treebender over this card,
it has a lower cost, and it’s effect is re-usable.
So just ignore this card, and look on to tomorrows
card.
Use Rak Skyfury he's cheaper and has a better
effect. Exhausting an ally is nice as is his instant
ally status but, really for my money I'd prefer a
bit more in the health department. If he could
exhaust a hero I think I'd like him more.
Sealed: 2/5
Constructed: 3/5
Casual:3/5
Raid: 1/5
If I could give him a zero here I would.

Oooo Tauren
Week... if it ever rains on Thunder Bluff... does
that make it a Tauren-tial downpour?? :)
When Bhen Checks-the- Sky enters play, you may
exhaust target ally.
Hmmm... what fun do I see here? Instant Ally? This
can be super fun. As an instant ally, you can play
him whenever you have priority on ANY turn. If he
had protector, that could be scary cool... but
almost as good, he can exhaust an ally when you play
him.
Many people would look at this guy and miss the
'instant' part of his text, and say "Hey, this guy
bites... why pay 2 for him? At 2 cost, this guy can
be well worth it. In sealed, if you go horde, you
should play him. In constructed, if you play a rogue
deck, he can come in quite handy. In casual, he's
absolutely fun to irritate your opponent with. In
raid... well... in ONY raid he isn't quite so
useful. Maybe in MC... but I haven't seen any cards
from that yet.
Sealed: 4/5 If you play Horde in sealed, this guy
can be a BIG pain in the butt for your opponent.
Constructed: 3/5 Here, he isn't QUITE as cool as in
sealed, but by no means bad. In the right deck, this
guy, either early or late game cuz of his ability,
he can be used with some degree of success.
Casual: 3/5 While not amazingly powerful, like I
said, he is GREAT for annoying people. And casual is
all about fun. Annoying other players = fun. :)
Raid (Ony): 1/5 Well... um... exhausting 1 whelp
isn't exactly amazing. In this raid, I'm sure you
can find better cards for 2 cost to put here.
Rook
This week's theme
is the mighty Tauren race, and we're starting out
with a rather nifty ally out of TDP.
Bhenn Checks-The-Sky
Horde / Instant Ally / Tauren Druid
Cost: 2
ATK: 2
Health: 1
Effect: When Bhenn Checks-The-Sky enters play, you
may exhaust target ally.
There's more to this guy than meets the eye.
First off, he's an instant ally, which means he's an
ally you can drop on your opponent's turn treated as
an instant. This gives Bhenn a slight edge over
other Horde 2-drops in regards to speed. There are
no Horde 2-drops with ferocity, and if you throw
this guy down on your opponent's turn, it's
basically just that. He can also be used as an ally
interrupt. Is there a big protector in your way?
Drop Bhenn and slide right by him. Leeroy coming at
you with no damage abilities in your hand? Bhenn can
help there, too.
He does have rather week stats for a 2-drop,
however, and that plays as his biggest detractor and
the reason he isn't seeing more play (that, and
Guardian Steelhorn being the preferred 2-drop for
Horde). Give him a shot, see how he works for you.
Sealed: 3/5 -- Allies dominate here, and this guy
can counter the big ones coming at you.
Constructed: 3/5 -- In the right deck (See: Horde
rogues), this guy can serve a 2-for-1 purpose.
Casual: 4/5 -- Anything has its uses in casual.
Raid: 1/5 -- Useless in raids.

Welcome to Tauren
week, so saddle up your Kodos.
First off is Bhenn Checks-the-Sky. At first glance
Bhenn doesn't look all that great, but upon closer
inspection it is discovered that he is an instant
ally. Now his effect is more relevant. Bhenn's
effect is a one shot, but it really shines because
of the instant keyword. You can stop an opposing
ally from using an exhaust ability or from
attacking. Bhenn's cost isn't too bad. There isn't
much difference between 1 health and 2 health.
The low cost is inherently good during the mid to
late game where you sometimes have an over abundance
of resources, and it combos well with other cards,
especially rogue abilities.
Sealed: 4 out of 5 - Good attack and disruption.
Constructed: 3 out of 5 - The arrival of
untargetable allies means that his effect won't be
as versatile.
Casual: 4 out of 5 - A good, annoying effect to
screw your friends with.
Raid: 2.5 out of 5 - You have trouble finding good
targets with Bhenn's effect but because he is an
instant ally he can be played at the end of Onyxia's
turn and can be attack with on your turn.
