Zin'rokh,
Destroyer of Worlds
Two-Handed Weapon- Sword, Melee (1)
Classes: Hunter, Paladin, Warrior
7 cost, 8 Strike, 5 ATK (Melee)
When your hero deals combat damage with Zin'Rokh,
destroy all other abilities, allies, equipment, and
resources.
Well. Is it possible for a card to be so cool, yet
be so useless? In the little more than a year that I
play WoW online, I saw Zin'Rokh and drooled over it
about 1000 times. When I got one in a booster, I
just about soiled me britches. This card is THE
reset button. But what use is that? You get one
swing with it (if you can afford it), and then it
sits around until you either win, lose, play another
weapon, or get ANOTHER 8 turns into the game. As
cool as game- reseting can be in other games, in WoW,
it seems kinda lame. You have no real way to spead
up Resource generation, no real free creatures...
nothin'.
Now, there is a flip side to this coin. If you are
playing this card in Onyxia Raid, you can SERIOUSLY
screw up the Dragon if you and your party coordinate
well with this weapon. Stage 3 Ony with no wheps, no
resources and no ability cards in play? Its harder
for her to recover from that than it is for 3 to 5
other players.
Is it odd that when I got to this card, my MP3
player started playing Megadeth? Its an omen I know
it....
Sealed: 1/5 Bad idea! No touchy! This is a big boy
weapon! Not for draft!
Constructed: 2/5 There MAY be some deck that
successfully uses this card, but on the whole, its
too expensive in too many ways to be used often.
Casual: 3/5 This could be fun. Casual is all about
annoying people, not winning, and this card is the
most annoying one in any game I have ever seen
except for Sailor Jupiter... but I didn't just say
that.
Raid (Onyxia): 3/5 Here this card can really ruin a
Dragons day. But, you and your team have to be ready
for it. If your party can successfully pull off a
Zin'Rohk, you can 'rohk' the dragon hardcore.
