When Plagueborn Meatwall defends against an ally,
remove all damage from Plagueborn Meatwall, and he

Wow, simply Wow, this card kicks ass. You’re
opponent has to kill in one turn, or use some kind
of ability to get rid of it. Combine it with
yesterdays card, and it’s almost a lock.
If you ever played Yu-gi-oh we just got WoW's
Reflect bounder.
Slightly harder to use than old RB but still quite
effective. Make space for this card you won't regret
it

Ally- Undead Abomination
Protector, When Plagueborn Meatwall defends against
an ally, remove all damage from Plagueborn Meatwall,
and he deals that much melee damage to each attack
ally.
Now here is an interesting card. 0/6 Protector for 5
isn’t a great bargain, normally. But, if it has
damage on it when it defends, that damage is removed
(healed!!!) and that damage is done to each
attacking ally. This makes Meatwall hard to kill in
combat. Sure, he can be zapped to death by ability
cards, but 6 damage worth of abilities is hard to
come by, and hard on your opponents hand.
Do not take this to mean he is invincible. If he is
hit for 4, that 4 stays until the next time he
defends. If he is hit by, say, a Firebolt for 2
damage, that’ll be plenty to finish him off.
Constructed: 3/5 He’s decent, and I could see him
being used as a big wall.
Casual: 3/5 Same deal here. He may see more play in
less serious decks.
Raid: 2/5 I don’t really see this guy bringing much
to a raid deck. Sure, he can stop a whelp, but he
may not stand up too well to a full sized dragon.

Plagueborn Meatwall
Horde/Undead Abomination
Cost: 6
Attack: 0
Health: 6
Effect: Protector
When Plagueborn Meatwall defends against an ally,
remove all damage from Plagueborn Meatwall, and he
deals that much melee damage to each attacking ally.
I want to like this guy, I really, really do. He's
got a nice effect, and he's got the potential to be
nigh-invulnerable. But at the same time, his glaring
weaknesses are what keeps him from being a top-notch
selection.
First off, his effect only triggers when he's hit by
an ally. The easy way to kill him? Ram an ally into
Plagueborn with no damage on him, and then use
alternate means to finish him off, whether it be a
weapon or an ability.
Also keep in mind that his effect will only be
valuable when he has damage on him. Whenever you hit
him initially, finish him off that turn, or he'll
bring the hurt to any attacking allies you have.
Just hope your opponent doesn't drop him and a
Sylvanas out at the same time. Good luck with that
one if it happens.
Obviously against a solo deck, Plagueborn is the
biggest waste of 6 resources you could have. Why
drop him when you could just drop a Guardian
Steppestrider for 2 resources cheaper?
There is one place where this guy shines, and that's
in sealed, where ally-based rush decks reign
supreme. Get this guy out there, and your opponent's
plans just got shafted bigtime.
Sealed: 4.5/5 -- This is his format.
Constructed: 2/5 -- Too many weaknesses, too many
cards that can do it better.
Casual: 3.5/5 -- Get him out with a Sylvanas and
it's good game. Just hope your friend isn't running
solo.
Raid: 1/5 -- What's he going to do, kill a whelp?

Let's see here.
PBMW is a pretty good protector. If you just happen
to have Queen Sylvanas out he's even better. At a 5
cost he's decent.
One drawback to this guy is that he has no attack at
all. If he had access to an attack bonus he would be
pretty awesome. Another bad thing is that Solo hero
decks are getting more and more popular especially
after the Dark Moon Faire, Austin. PBMW's ability
doesn't kick in against a hero. An attack with an
ally followed by a hero attack would most likely
kill PBMW. That's not even counting whatever
damaging abilities your enemy might have. PBMW won't
block those either.
Given the choice between PBMW and Ophelia, Ophelia
would get the nod from me because of her cheaper
cost, attack, and better effect. The only time PBMW
is really awesome is if your facing a weanie ally
deck, but even then I don't think your opponent is
dumb enough to keep attacking PBMW.
Sealed: 2.5 out of 5 - Anything that can handle
multiple allies is good here. 3.5 if it's a TDP
tourny only.
Constructed: 1 out of 5 - Ophelia Barrows is a
better card in my opinion.
Plus solo hero and ability driven decks run PBMW
over.
Casual: 1.5 out of 5 - I don't think this guy is
very fun to play with.
Raid: 1 out of 5 - All of those corpses used in the
making of PBMW should make a lovely funeral pyre.
