Unstable Affliction (Warlock)
3 cost Ability- Affliction Talent
Affliction Hero Required
Attah to target hero or Ally.
Ongoing: At the start of your turn, your hero deals
2 shadow damage to attached character.
When Unstable Affliction is destroyed, your hero
deals 4 shadow damage to attached character.
Well now... 2 DoTs in
a row (For the un-initiated, DoT stands for Damage
over Time). I like Unstable Affliction. 2 damage
every turn? And if it is destroyed, it blows up for
4 in their face? What's not to like? The way this
card is set up, you are guaranteed at least 4 damage
for 3 resources, even if it doesn't get to go a full
turn.
Sealed: 5/5 Unstable Affliction in sealed means
that your opponent won't have many ways to destroy
it, so you'll likely get your beautiful 2 damage
every turn.
Constructed: 4/5 Unfortunately, in constructed
there are alot of ways to get rid of ongoing
abilities. But you should STILL play this. If you
drop it on an ally, that ally is as good as dead,
and if you drop it on your opponent, they are in for
some serious hurt, even if they destroy it.
Casual: 4/5 Good card... nothing amazingly 'fun'
about it, unless you consider winning fun. :)
Raid: 4/5 Amazingly, I see this as being a great
card in a Raid deck, especially against Onyxia.
Drop it on the dragon and watch her life fall appart.
If you are going to run this in MC, though, make
sure that you have 4 of it and some way to get it
back from your graveyard., so that you can play it
on multiple bosses.

Unstable Affliction
Pretty simple card. 3 cost DOT
that does 2 damage per turn. But Wait- There’s
More. It has a built in Bomb effect of when it
is destroyed, do 4 damage. Well isn’t that a
nice little after-effect which penalizes your
opponent for side-decking against this card.
Constructed: 4.0 with
multiple copies in play.
Sealed: 3.0
Casual: 2.0

Unstable
Affliction
Warlocks are renown for their DoT (Damage over Time)
abilities, and Unstable Affliction is certainly a
nice addition to their arsenal.
Doing the same damage as Deadly Poison, but without
the activation requirement, Affliction can quickly
lower your opponent's Health. If you happen to be
playing against a Priest, or someone who main decks
either Chipper or Confessor Mildred, they will not
be able to dispense with Affliction without a hefty
price!
This card fits right into a Harrigan Soulsunder
deck. Sadly though, Combat rogues have made control
decks like Warlock somewhat unviable. Still, they
are a solid and stable decktype, and expect to see
them at your locals.
-------------------------------------
Sealed:
3/5 - a decent DoT ability
Constructed:
4/5 - a pair of these on the field will almost
guarantee victory
Casual:
4/5 - see constructed
Raid:
4/5 - Onyxia: absolutely brutal!
2/5 - Molten Core: when it's destroyed, you still
inflict 4 points of damage. But since attached
abilities don't transfer from Boss to Boss (like in
Onyxia), it's less effective.
