Crunch$G Next up for Witchcrafters is a Spell, which makes sense considering the archetype is based around Spells, and here we have Witchcrafter Creation. Creation is a Normal Spell that upon activation can search for any Witchcrafter monster, which is most certainly going to be a low level one to summon and discard a Spell and tribute to float into the bigger Witchcrafters, so having a more consistent way to get to the “Lonefire Blossoms” of the deck is great to have, and you can search for the bigger ones for discard fodder if you want to revive them with the archetypal Monster Reborn (Witchcrafter Holiday). Creation can also come back from the graveyard to your hand during your End Phase if you control a Witchcrafter monster, which is great since this archetype loves discarding Spells to make use of their effects, and all the Spells have this effect (though the Continuous Spells have their own twist on it). You can only use 1 effect of Creation per turn, and while that does slow the archetype down a bit, card advantage can get really out of hand if each effect was just a hard once per turn and you could still use both of them. Creation is one of the better Spells the deck has and is a worthy triplicate since it is your searcher. Advanced Rating: 4.5/5 Art: 4.5/5 Alright, the Witchcrafters are kinda cute here. |
Alex Searcy From Monster to Magic, we come to Witchcrafter Creation. What a delicious name for a card for the theme. This is simple, and abusable on repeat. You get to add a Theme Monster from your Deck to your Hand (Any theme Monster that is) and if you control a theme Monster while this card resides in the Graveyard, you can add it back to your Hand. You can only use one effect per turn, which again, is appropriate, or else you’re getting one of everything (at the very least, one of everything you want or need in that turn to pull off your play right then and there). Fantastic and simple searching that can be recycled and reused, it’s Earth friendly and a beautiful engine that helps make things go in the Deck. Rating: 4.5/5 It’s not perfect, but damn good at what it does. Art: 5/5 The crafters look much cuter here, certainly more Fairy like, but the picture is rather great. |
King of Lullaby Hello Pojo Fans, Witchcrafter Creation is the RoTA for the archetype. A simple, fantastic card for the archetype to use, it gets you any Witchcrafter monster to the hand from the deck. Unlike any other RoTA-like card, Witchcrafter can come back at the End Phase if you didn’t activate it. Serious advantage can be gained from this card, considering you can get any of your Witchcrafter monsters with it, then get it back at the End Phase next turn to use again later. Combine that with the purpose of Madame and her boost ability, and Creation is a search card every archetype wishes they had. A hard once per turn on the effects keeps this card balanced. WarlockBlitz Hope I get something good. Witchcrafter Creation is a free Normal Spell that let’s you search a Witchcrafter monster from your deck to your hand. Of course this is once per turn and can’t be used the same turn as the backup effect. That being said, every deck wants a Spell Card that does this because it is like running more than 3 of the card you want to use. It also auto adjusts to your hand based on what you need. As a bonus effect, once per turn during your end phase you get to add Witchcrafter Creation from the grave to your hand if you control a Witchcrafter monster. When you discard this for the cost of a different effect you get to add it back to use next turn. That’s awesome and I wish more cards that had higher investments had this type of effect as well. It’s fairly obvious that this needs to be run in triplicate and warrants a nice high score. Score: 4.5/5 Art: 5/5 |
