King of Lullaby Hello Pojo Fans, World Gears of Theurlogical Demiurgy may be the highest ATK Link 3 we’ll ever see, and depending on how you summon it, it may be the strongest control card for you. Level 5 or higher isn’t hard with monsters like DANGER! and Cyber Dragon floating around the game, but requiring monsters with levels and throwing out using other monsters like Xyz and other Link monsters hurts the ease of summoning this card just a bit. Can’t be used as Link Material…not sure why you’d give up a 3500ATk behemoth for something else but okay. If you somehow used three different monsters with three different types and attributes to summon this, you get a board wipe every turn. That is some insane power and it is deserved to have to use three different level 5 or higher monsters with different attributes and types from each other. It can be as easy as Special Summon Cyber Dragon, get a big Danger! monsters on the field, and then Instant Fusion a monsters that is level 5 that isn’t a DARK or LIGHT, Fiend or Machine. The World Legacy monster Special Summon from your deck isn’t the greatest effect. Yes, your opponent will have a Special Summoned monster from the Extra Deck most likely, and if your Demiurgy is still alive back at your next Main Phase you will get a Special Summon, but this isn’t even good in a World Legacy because all World Legacy monsters are DARK aside from Mardark. The board wipe is what you’re using it for, and you are going to finish your opponent the turn you bring it out. If you don’t you have protection against monster effect and that’s all. Use this card to nuke everything and finish when your opponent is under 3500LP…unless it’s easier for you to beat them without doing all this. Advanced-3.5/5 Art-4/5 Until Next Time |
WarlockBlitz What’s in a name? WGoTG is a mouthful and doesn’t really connect to anything thematically so why bother? It’s a Link 3 Dark Cyberse-type Link Monster with 3500 Atk and with Left, Right, and Down Arrows. The stats here are ridiculously high which makes sense for the 3 Level 5 or higher monsters you need to Link Summon. It then cannot be used as Link Material. Luckily, it has boss qualities of protection and offense. As a Link Summoned monster on the field, it’s unaffected by any other monster effects. No hand trap monsters, no grave monsters, and obviously, no on field monster effects from either side of the field will work on WGoTG. Then we have 2 hard once per turn effects. If your Level 5 or higher monsters used to Link Summon this had different types and attributes, you get to destroy every other card on the field. Board wipes are great non targeting destruction, and you can do that every turn during your Main Phase. Though, if you need to do it more than once, I’m not sure you know how to play. The second effect is more niche because you can Special Summon any World Legacy monster from your deck after your opponent Special Summons a monster from the Extra Deck. This can’t happen during the Damage Step, but you should be able to do this during either player’s turn once per turn. So you can board wipe, attack, bring out something to stop the opponent next turn, attack again, and win. And board wipe again to make them salty. Seriously, other than the summoning requirements and effect restrictions, this is a great card. Unfortunately, the top decks are very mono-themed, either all Dark, all Dragon, all Light, etc. If you don’t fit that mold, WGoTD is a great Extra Deck option. Score: 3.5/5 Art: 4/5 What am I looking at here? |
Crunch$G Have fun saying this name, like at all. Here’s World Gears of Theurlogical Demiurgy. WGoTD is a Link-3 DARK Cyberse with 3500 ATK and arrows pointing Left, Right, and Down. The ATK is amazing on a Link-3, the arrows make it good in either EMZ or MMZ, I like DARK and Cyberse can be appreciated when its a type still supported. The summoning requirements are any 3 Level 5 or higher monsters, which while it sounds hard, isn’t completely impossible and is worth it considering what it does. It cannot be used as Link Material, which I doubt you would want to most of the time. This Link Summoned card is unaffected by any monster effects, which protection is always appreciated. This card also has two other effects of which are hard once per turns. The first being during your Main Phase if you Link Summoned this using 3 monsters with 3 different Types and Attributes, you can destroy all other cards on the field. Now this might be harder to pull off, but again not impossible, and it shouldn’t be easy to destroy every other card on the field like that of course. The other effect is that if your opponent Special Summons a monster from the Extra Deck, you can summon any World Legacy monster from your deck. World Legacy – “World Chalice” is a good option as it can tribute itself when a monster is Special Summoned from the Extra Deck to send said monster to the graveyard, though I don’t know how good that is when you summon it after your opponent already summoned from the Extra Deck. The other good option is “World Crown” as it can tribute itself when your opponent activates the effect of a monster Special Summoned from the Extra Deck to negate said effect and destroy the monster, which is just perfect when you summoned this after your opponent just summoned from the Extra Deck. This big guy here won’t be in every Extra Deck, but I imagine something can fit him in, or you can build a deck around it. It’s a pretty neat card. Advanced Rating: 3.5/5 Art: 4.5/5 A lot going on here, I guess this has something to do with Theurlogical Demiurgy. |
Alex Searcy Okay, say it with me everyone, World Gears of Theurlogical Demiurgy. This is a Link 3, Cyberese Monster, with a massive 3500 attack. This Monster is Dark, and requires 3 level 5 or higher Monsters for a Link Summon. Arrows point directly to either side, as well as directly below. Can’t be used as Link Material, not usually a good thing, but things could be worse. Unaffected by other Monster effects IS rather good, however. As seems to be the theme this week, attached are two other effects, both which are once per turn. If this was Link Summoned using three Monsters of different Types and Attributes, Demiurgy blows up the Field. ALL other cards on the Field are destroyed. So assuming that goes through, that’s a 3500 shot to your opponent, possibly game in that moment too. Can’t shake your head at that. If your opponent Special Summons a Monster (save during the Damage Step) you can Special Summon a World Legacy Monster from your Deck. That’s an even and fair effect, getting a Monster because your opponent got one. Open up some more combos definitely, but could be fairly difficult, because that could happen for you on either turn. I’d say this fits best in its own constructed Deck, but no denying the fun and potential. Rating: 3.75/5 Art: So Demiurge, in varying schools of philosophy, is an artisan creature responsible for fashioning and maintaining the physical universe. Knowing that, I can totally derive that from this picture. Can’t help but give this pic a 5/5 too |
