Like Dragonic Neoflame before it, this only works with one incarnation of Dragonic Overlord. That automatically makes it less desirable, as it means Neoflame cannot exist with Dekat unless you enjoy vanilla-ising your G2 lineup that much.

In terms of a pure DOTE build (if that is ever going to exist) Dekat is basically your main way to make Force 2 go a little further. The problem here is really timing. DOTE has very little Mid Game presence and you need to wait until the big final push before this becomes remotely useful. When he DOES go off, sure, it makes the opponent go -2 minimum, and even a Perfect Guard becomes a -3, but again, the lateness of timing holds it back when more bang early on, over time, can probably get you further ahead.
