So we’ve dropped Prisoner Beast, I wager.

Okay, so we’re looking at a Soulcharge of 2 and the capacity to function as an attacker in a pinch. He doesn’t proc any main phase cards like Doreen the Thruster but to be honest, the fact he costs no Counterblast is sort of the main draw, not to mention you could (but not always) +1 as your Circle Magus expy. I think if I were to choose between this and Dimension Creeper, I guess if the intent is to use Emblem Master whenever possible Dimension Creeper, but for more generic purposes (and I’m all for creating as many situations as possible where a card can be good) I’s choose Yellow Bolt.

So Yellow Bolt it is. He’s good.
