Even the gods themselves need their own knights and jesters. Hello Pojo Readers, Crunch$G here to tell you about the yearly TCG Exclusive set we seem to get every year now. To follow up on the Egyptian God Decks, we have King’s Court here to give us support to try and help mainly Slifer the Sky Dragon. This set expands upon the Three Musketeers of Face series of cards with a lineup of new support. We also got a ton of extra miscellaneous new cards to support various other Decks and some reprints for the players to enjoy. Of course, we got Collector’s Rares in this set to hopefully upgrade some of the bigger fan favorite cards in this set. We also got a special surprise in here as well.
Millennium Gods
First off, the surprise in the set we didn’t know about until it was opened early. The three Egyptian Gods were all printed in this set as a surprise three bonus cards from the 62 we were promised, but we got special rarities. Any Egyptian God pulled will come with a foiling with millennium hieroglyphs in the background. There are Ultra and Secret Rare verisons of this foiling, known as Pharoah’s Ultra Rare and Pharoah’s Secret Rare. They do seem to be 1 a case to go along with the 4 Collector’s Rares, so they won’t be easy to obtain, especially if you want all three and if you want a specific rarity since it could be either of the two. It’s an overall nice surprise and cool addition to the set.
The Collector’s Rares
Now for what we mainly care about these sets for, the Collector’s Rares that Konami have chosen to be in the set. Of course, we weren’t going to go without any of the Poker Knight cards in the rarity. Outside of King’s, Queen’s, and Jack’s Knight all receiving the rarity bump, we got four new cards in the rarity with Arcana Triumph Joker, Joker’s Knight, Imperial Bower, and Joker’s Straight. We also have three other new cards in the rarity with Number F0: Utopic Draco Future, Gilti-Gearfried the Magical Steel Knight, and Hyper Galaxy. The remaining reprints to be in the rarity outside the Knights are Rescue Rabbit, Number 39: Utopia, Reinforcement of the Army, Lightning Storm, and Rivalry of Warlords.

Noteworthy Reprints
Now to take note of all the reprints in this set. Of course you were going to have all the old Three Musketeers of Face cards in this set with King’s, Queen’s, and Jack’s Knight alongside Arcana Knight Joker and Arcana Extra Joker. You also got relevant reprints for recently supported or soon to be supported archetypes, mainly the cover themes for Lightning Overdrive and Dawn of Majesty, like Majestic Dragon, Stardust Xialong, ZW – Tornado Bringer, ZW – Ultimate Shield, ZW – Eagle Claw, Scrap Twin Dragon, Number 39: Utopia, Number C39: Utopia Ray, ZW – Leo Arms, Number F0: Utopic Future, and Converging Wishes. You also got other miscellaneous reprints of classic cards or recently meta relevant cards, alongside cards to go with the Poker Knight support, like Gravekeeeper’s Spy, Rescue Rabbit, Cloudcastle, Baxia, Brightness of the Yang Zing, Chaofeng, Phantom of the Yang Zing, Evolzar Dolkka, Wind-Up Arsenal Zenmaioh, Constellar Ptolemy M7, Number 49: Fortune Tune, Infinite Cards, Reinforcement of the Army, The Warrior Returning Alive, Ties of the Brethern, Pot of Duality, Unexpected Dai, World Legacy Guardragon, Lightning Storm, and Rivalry of Warlords. We also go the three Wicked Gods in this set to go with the Egyptian Gods with The Wicked Dreadroot, The Wicked Avatar, and The Wicked Eraser.
In Conclusion
Overall, I’d say this was a well done Collector’s Rare set. There were some noteable exceptions of cards that should of been Collector’s Rare but weren’t. Some that come to mind are Gravekeeper’s Spy, Constellar Ptolemy M7, Number F0: Utopic Future, and Pot of Duality. Also an Arcana Knight Joker in Collector’s Rare would of been nice. With that said, there are nice reprints in here to mainly give the Collector’s Rare treatment to and some overall cards that just needed the reprint in general. The new cards aren’t too much to write home about outside Number F0: Utopic Draco Future. They for some reason cut cards like the Altergeist cards, Right and Left-Hand Shark, and White Mirror from this set when importing Premium Pack 2020 cards. The Poker Knight support is nice and helps tie Slifer the Sky Dragon together with the cards. I do wish we got another wave of support for a different archetype, cause Jack Atlas comes to mind when I think of Kings in Yugioh. Also no sign of the Inzektor support card that was voted upon. The God cards as mentioned before were a nice and pleasant surprise to the set as another chase outside the Collector’s Rares. It’s a well put together set to make up for the Deck Build Packs they turned into the Collector’s Rare sets and don’t focus too much on the reprints for with the rarity.
Thanks for reading,
