This is my current top ten favorite cards from the Yugi and Kaiba starter decks, Legend of Blue Eyes White Dragon, Metal Raiders, Magic Ruler, and Pharaoh’s Servant, with 1 being the top, and 10 being the bottom.

At #1, and my favorite monster, is Barrel Dragon: 2600 attack, 2200 defense, rockin’ effect...who WOULDN’T want a monster like this?! I mean, it’s double kill!

At #2, there’s Crab Turtle: 2550 attack, tribute from your hand, strong in a water deck with Suijin and Umiruka, need I say more?

#3: would have to be Suijin: 2500 attack, 2400 defense, instant kill if opponent is foolish enough to attack it...Not to mention strong and able with Umiruka...

#4: No doubt about it, Solemn Judgment. I mean, negation for half your LP isn’t all that bad. I mean, imagine the look on their faces if you negate their precious Summoned Skull, or Relinquished, or even negate their negator! You play change of heart, they play magic jammer, then from outta nowhere comes your Solemn Judgment!

#5: Monster Reborn: My #1 FAVORITE strategy: ritual summon Crab Turtle by sacrificing Suijin or something, then reborn Suijin or whatever.

#6: The Magician of Faith: Look closely at their faces when you reborn not 1 monster, but 2! Imagine the above strategy with 2 reborns. That’s Crab Turtle, Suijin, and possibly Barrel Dragon, right there.

#7: Labyrinth Wall: 3000 Defense, 1 tribute. Need I say more?

#8: Man-Eater Bug: Instant Killing....Instant Killing......Must I keep going?!

#9: Cyber Jar: My favorite combo, the ‘Cyber Ritual’, which you can read in the Tips section. I’ll give it in brief here, just so you can understant. Have any set of corresponding rituals in your hand, flip cyber jar, get a few monsters out from it’s effect, play Summoned Skull and your ritual monster, Raigeki, then BOOM! They’re dead.

#10: Raigeki: Only the least of my favorites, but still very useful. Cyber Ritual combo anybody? I mean, who WOULDN’T wand a card to wipe the opponent’s monster field?!

Honorable Mentions: Cards that aren’t in my top 10, but are still amazingly useful: Summoned Skull, Mirror Force, Witch of the Black Forest, Delinquent Duo, Change of Heart, Mask of Darkness, Card Destruction, Heavy Storm, Dark Hole, Sonic Bird, Senju of the Thousand Hands
