Well, I want to say that I am flattered that everyone thinks I am right about the Gate Guardian pieces being great and at the number 1 spot, but come on people! Think up some of your own! Nobody seems to like thinkin up their own number one spot. But anyway . . .
Ok! Well I thought I would do a fun one for y'all and make my Top Ten on the best cards to put in a Toon deck. You'll notice that I don't put Toons/Toon World in. Well they're at an obvious number one spot. Well, here is my Top Ten list!
10 - Magician of Faith: This is used to get back Toon World/Giant Trunade/Swords that will help you to stall or win the game. It is a crucial part in case of using Painful Choice or if your Toon World gets the boot with a Magic Jammer.
9 - Goblin Attack Force: This is just my favorite card. I don't worry about it's downside beside manipulating an opponent to either not attack or attack and hit the Mirror Force is so easy. Or, you can use Waboku and stop it for a turn. I do that a lot of the time.
8 - Lord of D./Flute of Summoning Dragon: This is at number 8 because it is the hardest combo to pull off with a Toon deck. If you can, just sacrifice. Since the cards are special summons, you can play up to 5 a turn. But I've tried a deck like this, and am still fine tuning it, but you need both of these cards, 1-2 BETD/Manga Ryu-Ran, and Toon World, which I like to back up with a Giant Trunade. In a 40 card deck, this may seem quite impossible; and it almost is.
7 - Monster Reborn/Premature Burial: These cards are awesome for pretty much any deck. But when you have a lot of high level creatures in your deck, these cards are for you! Discard them with a Painful Choice then bring them back when Toon World is on the field.
6 - Megamorph: This card can double BETD's attack power to a whopping 6000. It is EXTREMELY easy to pull yourself below your opponent's Life Points. If you use Megamorph, be sure to play a deck where you dont usually attack. You dont want a 1500 "strong" creature attacking your opponent's life.
5 - Cyber Jar: This card is great in my opinion. I usually pick up the game-winning cards when I flip this! Make sure you flip on your tun, only AFTER all of the cards on your side are flipped. At least the ones with effects. But anyway, you get the point. Attacking their LP will work easier if you have the top 5 cards on the field and in your hand. But beware of holding your hand too big. The Toon combos can have you using up to 8 cards combos. They're worth it though!
4 - Forced Requisition: I find my hand is always too big, so I'm also discarding. If you can get him to discard his cards, then hey! You've got good card advantage there!
3 - Giant Trunade: Here is a good card! Play TW, Swords, a couple of other cards, then this! You got Swords for like 5 turns, TW safe in your hand, and they got nothin on the field! What more is there to this card? It finally shines in the Toon decks!
2 - Painful Choice: You can manipulate your opponent to give you good cards in this. If you need Flute to finish a combo, put out Mirror Force, PoG, MoF, etc so if he doesn't give it to you, at least you can get it back with something. They're not going to willingly give you a Mirror Force.
1 1/2 - JINZO!!! Yes this card is number one and a half in this deck! But 1 1/2 is the same as 1. I just have another card after this. Why is it in here, you ask? To stop Magic Jammer. MJ is the number 1 way that TW is destroyed nowadays. When this sucker is out, lay down your hard earned combos.
1 - Finally! The tension is killing me! Come on! What is it?
You'll never know!
Just kidding! It is Imperial Order. Play this down, you don't have to pay for TW but its on the field, you don't have to worry about Heavy Storm/Mystical Space Typhoon to ruin your day. I suggest using a Jinzo/Imperial Order combo you can think up. Even though they can't be on the field at the same time.
Well, there you have it! The first fun Top Ten list comes to a close. I gotta get goin for school though, so I'll see u guys later with a greater Top Ten list of my current deck that I will have.
And thanx to those of you who e-mailed me feedback last time. My email is frieza_00@hotmail.com . And I'm still wondering if people would like me to run:
a) A Toon deck
b) A Thousand Eyes Restrict deck
c) A Heavy-Hitter deck (A.K.A. Almost Beatdown)
d) A Machine deck
e) A Shadow Ghoul deck
The list above is for my next tip I will submit when it is opened. I am already working on a Toon/Lord of D. deck (which is killin me!) but I can do another Toon deck if people ask for me to. I would rather do the Thousand Eyes Restrict deck (in my opinion) but it is up to you guys!! Please answer it and send me an e-mail of what your think! Thanx y'all (love that word) !!!!
