Michael's Yu-Gi-Oh Top 10 List - My Top 10 Personal Favorite Cards
Hey, home dogs! This is my list of my ten favorite cards in each category.
I don't really have a ton of money, so the best cards may not be on here. These
are the top ten cards I own, mind you. Here we go...
Monsters-
10. Hayabusa Knight- Cool artwork, cool effect. With a good equip or two,
he can be an unstoppable force.
9. Crab Turtle- I really think this guy has potential. He's ritual, but
he's very strong and common. The art isn't bad, I would actually use this guy if
I had another copy.
8. Man Eater Bug- Good for taking out huge, ultimate monsters, but with all
the Ceasefire's running around, it's not so good anymore.
7. Relinquished- Cool art, awesome power, great with Gravity Bind or so
I've heard. The only problem is it's a Ritual Monster and they are easy to
counter.
6. Opticlops- Solid attack, good defense for emergencies, no tribute,
awesome artwork. What more is there to say?
5. Cyber Jar- It has saved my behind so many times, but also backfired. I'd
rate it lower, but it often helps me against Exodia decks.
4. The Fiend Megacyber- This card has saved me so many times it's not funny
(the look on my opponents face was very funny when I explained the effect,
played it, and watched him plummet to 0 life points). Its WotBF
compatible, has decent attack, and a great effect for surprise comebacks or just
a surprise. The artwork isn't bad either.
3. Blue-Eyes White Dragon- I love this card. Its not the most powerful,
though it almost is, it's two tribute, but it has some special sentimental
value. I guess I like dragon-types.
2. Beast of Talwar- Almost same attack as Summoned Skull, one
tribute, only with higher defense. In some situations, its even better than
Skull. Fiend and Dark makes it all the better. Incredible artwork!
1. Summoned Skull- Great attack, one tribute, searchable by Witch of the
Black Forest, you know the drill...
Magic Cards- Ritual Cards and Staple Cards not included.
10. Rain of Mercy- Cool with Bad Reation to Simochi.
9. Upstart Goblin- Small sacrifice if it saves me from a Yata-Lock. It's
once again good with Bad Reaction to Simochi.
8. The Shallow Grave- Get's my Bug's back.
7. Soul Release- Cool card. I can use SHadow of the Eyes to stop Fiber Jar
and remove the Jar from play. Or I can kill Exodia with m Robbin' Goblins
and remove its parts.
6. Fissure- Offerings to the Doomed would replace this, but the surge of
Yata-Garusu decks where I play makes the side effect very risky. Fissure is just
a slower, downgraded offering.
5. Scapegoat- It has saved me so many times. And it relly annoys my
opponent's when I ask them which one to kill: Red, Pink, Orange, or Blue
Goat.
4. Black Pendant- Any boost is better than none and it combos with one of
my favorite Traps.
3. Rush Recklessly- Surprise attacks.
2. Mystical Space Typhoon- Strange name, but so is Yu-Gi-Oh. I really like
this card because I can't afford the fancy Magic Jammer and Sinister Serpent
combo.
1. Graceful Charity- Awesome combo with Monster Reborn, draw power, thin
deck. This is my all-time favorite magic Card.
Traps-
10. Gamble- This is a Last Turn type card. It either saves you or destroys
you. Good to fight my lest favorite card, Yata-Garusu.
9. Waboku- It has saved me many times. You can't argue with free turn to
save yourself.
8. Eatgaboon- Only effective way to kill Yata-Garusu. It would usually be
ash in the fireplace.
7. Collected Power- Good since I don't have all the great, divine equips
like UWS and Mage Power. I can just steal them.
6. Michizure- Best if activated in pairs or with Man-Eater Bug. Can make
the opponent think twice before attacking again.
5. Shadow of the Eyes- Awesome to counter weak stat effect monsters and to
kill the Jars (Cyber, Morphing 1 and 2, Fiber).
4. Robbin' Goblin- Best if you can see what the opponent had. It would be
higher on the list, but it depends on Eye of Truth or Respect Play to work
well.
3. Eye of Truth- Great with Robbin Goblin and Bad Reaction, or both
together. It can end a game real quick with the right combos.
2. Bad Reaction to Simochi- There are so many twisted and evil combo's with
this thing.I don't know why more people don't play it.
1. Magical Hats- A very underated card. It saved me once in a game- I had
Skull, Talwar Beast, and Opticlops out. I had like 300 life points left, he
had four hundred. I was sure I was going to win, but he threw down a Fiend
Megacyber and attacked my Opticlops. I used the Hats and used two Black Pendants
as the substitue monsters. He attacked one of them and it was game. That's a
very unusual and unlikely situation, but it happened.
Well, that's it. I know a lot of my cards fight Yata, but it is overly
abused in my area. Hate mail will be read, but not replied to. Later-
Michael
