Top 10 Legacy of Darkness Cards
10. Legendary Ocean- Not exactly a card to use in all decks. As you
guessed, this card is used for water-decks and acts as "Umi". This card
decreases the level of all Water Attribute monsters by 1 and increases the
attack and defense of all water monsters by 200. Tornado Wall can be used with
this as well as Legendary Fisherman.
9. Drop Off- This Trap cart is awesome in a Yata-based Deck. You may allow
your opponent to draw a card, while they are in the Yata-lock by you by
summoning a stronger monster instead of Yata and attacking them, but once they
draw, immediatly destroy it with Drop Off. Or, Convulsion of Nature is a good
combo with Drop Off to destroy cards like Raigeki or Mirror Force.
8. Creature Swap- This Magic card allows you and your opponent to pick one
monster on your/their side of the field and switch control of them. This is good
with Ameba or Griggle, because it causes you to either gain 3000 or your
opponent to lose 2000. It can also help to gain control of high attack monsters
such as Jinzo or Summoned Skull.
7. Hino-Kagu-Tsuchi - This Spirit Monster, level 8 with a 2800 ATK and 2900
DEF is a great monster with an awesome effect, but has to go back to your hand
at the end of the turn unless Spiritual Energy Settling Machine is on the field.
Kagu's effect is that when damage is inflicted to your opponent's life points,
they must discard their whole hand before their next draw phase.
6. Spear Dragon- This monster is a level 4 1900 ATK monster who
has a built in Fairy Meteor Crush effect. This is a great monster, but, has a
drawback. It must be turned to defense mode, with a def. of 0. However, it can
be changed once again next turn to ATK position, unlike GAF.
5. Dark Ruler Ha Des- This monster, formerly called Hades but changed by
UD, is a definite fearful monster. This monster can negate all effects of all
monsters, and allows all other fiends on your side of the field to negate the
effects of your opponent's monsters. This stops MEB, Sangan, and Witch. The only
drawback is that he cannot be Special Summoned from the Graveyard, but your
opponent cannot bring him back either.
4. Exiled Force- This warrior can be destroyed to destroy one monster on
the field. This monster can be used to remove the final defense mode monster
from the field to prevent any flip effects, or to get rid of a strong monster
like Jinzo. All in all, this monster is great, and while limited to one per
deck, you can bring it back with Warrior Returning Alive or bring it from your
deck with Reinforcements of the Army.
3. Injection Fairy Lily- This monster can be a very annoying monster for
you to go up against and has a great effect. By paying 2000 life points at
you/your opponent's damage step, you can increase the attack by 3000 points.
Magic Cylinder will only counter the original 400 points of attack rather than
3400, so the only monster that can do hurt against Lily is Kuriboh. This monster
is great in any major beatdown deck.
2. Fiber Jar- This card can restart the game in any tough situation. It is
a great card in an Exodia deck, or just when you are in big trouble and have no
monsters on the field. Also, it can be good to clear the field on your turn and
possibly deliver the final blow on your opponent.
1. Yata-Garasu - Duh, the most sought after monster in LOD! This card is a
threatening card to anyone who faces it, and it can soon mean defeat for
your opponent if you lock them in the all-terrifying Yata-lock.
