The Anonymous Ben’s Top Ten Lists

Top Ten Traps

10. Seven Tools of The Bandit – Not as good as it was once, but is still useful when

you want your traps to work, but not your

opponent’s. Otherwise use Jinzo.

9. Solemn Judgement – One of the very few traps that negates multiple things, and

can negate the summoning of Jinzo. Would have been higher

if not for the hefty Life Point cost.

8. Gravity Bind – Taking into account that this is in the correct deck (e.g. Hayabusa

Knight deck), it can stop most other decks in it’s tracks. Painful.

7. Royal Command – Negating all flip-effects is a good thing in my metagame. The

question is, is it in yours?

6. Torrential Tribute – One of my personal favourites, destroying all monsters is

&#always good, especially as you can activate this in your

opponent’s turn. Only use one though.

5. Call of The Haunted – I don’t particularly like this but I recognise it’s power. I

dislike this a bit as you must revive in attack mode. Still

good though.

4. Ceasefire – The one hit alternative to Royal Command, and in my opinion, the

much better alternative. Can be used in any deck, and also burns.

3. Imperial Order – Negating all magics is very good, especially as the payment IS

optional. Activating it when your opponent activates Raigeki is

always nice.

2. Magic Cylinder – I like this a lot, as the amount of times it wins me duels is

amazing. Simply nasty. Opponent brings out Masked Beast? No

problems, they will die rather than you.

1.Mirror Force – No questioning this card. Too damn powerful. Negates all your

opponent’s attacks and destroys as well. Can turn a duel on it’s head

on it’s own. It’s restricted for a good reason.

Top Ten Magics

NOTE : I have made this list without any ‘Staples’. This means no Harpies Feather Duster, Raigeki, Dark Hole, Change of Heart, Monster Reborn or Heavy Storm.

Magic Reflector – I like this, mainly because I run a Fisherman deck (see it here: http://www.yugiohrealms.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=160960 - please rate and review if you are a member). I will use it to protect A Legendary Ocean. This can also be used to protect any other continuous card. Some examples = Toon World, Messenger of Peace, Gravity Bind etc.

9. Painful Choice – Can be very good if used properly. You have to use this

wisely, as it is not for every deck. You must want the things you choose to go

in the graveyard, so that you can get them back from there. Some decks that

benefit from this are : Dark Necrofear (Dump fiends), Exodia (Dump Limbs –

then Backup Soldier) even Gate Guardian (Dump pieces and revive)!

8. Delinquent Duo – Getting rid of two cards from your opponent’s hand is very

nice, especially with the release of Yata. It is also a good counter to Exodia.

7. Swords of Revealing Light – Still a very good stall card, however no longer a

staple with all of the M/T removal running around. 3 turns can do a lot though

6. Scapegoat – The newest stall card. Produces four little goats to take the

punishment for you. Watch out however for trample cards: Spear Dragon,

Fairy Meteor Crush + (e.g. Asura Priest/ Tyrant Dragon/ Any other powerful

Monster) or Mad Sword Beast.

5. Mystical Space Typhoon – I use two. It is a Quick-play magic, therefore can

be activated during your opponent’s turn. Very good.

4. Premature Burial – Not as good as Call of the Haunted for two reasons. 1)

Pay 800 LP – not a big deal, but it is annoying. 2) Cannot use in opponent’s

Turn. Still good though.

3. Creature Swap – A combo card. This is a load of fun to play around with!

Some good cards to play it with are : Witch of the Black Forest, Any Spirit,

Ameba/Griggle.

2. United We Stand – Amazingly powerful. Use this if you use equips. Painful.

1.Nobleman of Crossout – Brilliant. Removes flips. Removes their card

from play no matter what it is, and leaves them free for a direct attack.

Top Ten Monsters

10. Nimble Momonga – Swarmable, Life Point Gain and it can attack under

Gravity Bind. Guaranteed to hurt.

9. Spear Dragon – Nice 1900 with a trample built in. Much better than Parshath.

8. Witch of the Black Forest – Can search for every monster in this list

except…

7. The Legendary Fisherman – NOTE : only for a specific Fisherman/Water

deck. I use it, I like it, it hurts. A lot

6. Injection Fairy Lily – Quite simply, ouch. For more info, see Pojo’s review

5. Gemini Elf – The only non-effect monster in the list. Pure Power with 1900

attack for a level 4.

4. Fiber Jar – Reset Button. Recycles every card except ones removed from

play. Extremely good in burn decks. Very good in all other decks. Use one.

3. Marauding Captain – Swarmable. Can bring out Goblins, Exiled Force, even

Dream Clown! If you power it up a bit, it is almost invincible with I. Order.

2. Jinzo – Nasty. If you think that this will backfire on you, it won’t happen

often. You will normally only get this out when you are ahead, and when you

are ahead you don’t often need traps to help. Of course, there are a few decks

not to put this in : e.g. Gravity Bind.

1. Yata-Garasu – Get one. When you draw it there is a 40% chance that you will

have won the game there.
