Subject: Ryutaro’s Top Ten

Since Pojo opened the Top Ten section again, I thought I would send another Top Ten list over for the fun of it. Here goes...

Top Ten Monster Cards

10)Cyber Jar--Being able to Special Summon a lot of low-level monsters on the field and the additional bonus of keeping any Magic or Trap Cards you draw is just neat-o

9)Fiber Jar--You can use your good cards again and you may have a better new hand

8)Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer--You can slowly wreck someone’s deck with his first effect, while your Flip Effect Monsters are safe from Nobleman of Crossout

7)Sangan--Usually a staple for Exodia decks, but I’m sure a lot of beatdown players will use his effect to get out my #1 pick

6)Witch of the Black Forest--She has been in almost every deck I’ve ever built; she is able to fish out most of the best monsters in the game

5)Summoned Skull--He’s really great; I can’t argue against a Level 6 Fiend with 2500 ATK

4)Maha Vailo--With the right Equip, she can own pretty much any monster released so far

3)Mystical Elf--I know she won’t last long, but she had always been a good stall monster

2)Gemini Elf--I can’t say no to two beautiful elves with 1900 ATK, and so should you

1)Injection Fairy Lily--She’s a real jack of all trades, being able to attack under Gravity Bind, shaking off Magic Cylinder, and defend against the opponent’s attack with her effect as well as attacking with it. Losing 2000 Life Points for her effect is nothing compared to how much you are going to lose when you face any type of beatdown. You can give Life Absorption Equipment a try, since it gives you back LP you’ve paid in your last turn. She’s incredibly versatile, and as cute as a button, to boot.

Top Ten Magic Cards

10)Nobleman of Crossout--You get two bonuses from this card: destroy a face-down monster and taking it out of the game

9)A Legendary Ocean--This card makes Legendary Fisherman a Level 4 monster and any Level 4 monsters you have eligible to attack under Gravity Bind

8)Pot of Greed--Draw two cards, mwa ha ha ha ha!

7)Change of Heart--There’s so many uses for this one card, it’s not funny. Sacrificing the monster you’ve just gotten control over and using its Flip effect are two of them.

6)Rush Recklessly--It’s good for defeating troublesome Tribute Monsters and Goblin Attack Force

5)Mystical Space Typhoon--Your opponent just pulled Bad Reaction to Simochi on you to screw up your Fire Princess combo? Flip MST up and teach him a thing or two.

4)Raigeki--It’s pretty self-explanatory, and it’s pronounced Rai-geh-ki, not Rai-gaa--ki

3)Mage Power--The next pick may be better, but 500 ATK and DEF for the cards you put in your Magic/Trap Zone helps a whole lot

2)United We Stand--You get a whopping 800 ATK and DEF for the monsters you have on your field, now how sweet is that?

1)Monster Reborn--Every duelist in the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime uses it (Maybe except Joey), and so does everyone else. Getting a monster back is always good.

Top Ten Trap Cards

10)Trap Hole--Taking down some Tribute Monsters with it is nice

9)Bottomless Trap Hole--It’s a little better than Trap Hole because you can remove a strong monster from the game along with destroying it

8)Magic Drain--It makes your opponent choose between two evils: lose the Magic Card s/he had just activated, or the one in his/her hand?

7)Magic Jammer--The cost isn’t really that bad and it can save you from a Raigeki

6)Tornado Wall--As long as Umi or A Legendary Ocean is in play, direct damage doesn’t exist

5)Mask of Weakness--It’s the opposite of Rush Recklessly, but it takes out strong monsters just the same

4)Magical Hats--This card screams “Combo me!” since there are probably countless combos you can come up with it, plus it serves as a great defense for your monsters

3)Fairy’s Hand Mirror--Use this to steal your opponent’s United We Stand or send that Nobleman of Crossout back to his/her Cyber Jar

2)Solemn Wishes--500 Life Points for the cards you draw and the cute chick bathed in sunlight is too cool

1)Mirror Force--You see three 2500 ATK Bazoos on the field, and they all attack you; watch them all go “Poof!” once you flip this card up
